I had a carpet fitted today by jaz, he was a credit to the company , had a coffee and he got straight in to the job , the best carpet I have ever had fitted no bumps no lumps all round ,even round the skirting line it was straight too job , if I had another carpet fitted u would personally ask for Jez too job 👍

Carpets are advertised and promoted as FREE FITTING,so I chose the carpet I wanted, that clearly had a ‘free fitting’ label sign attached to it, but when I came to pay for my carpet I was told I would have to either pay the carpet fitter myself, or arrange my own fitting!
Since I didn’t know any carpet fitters I let them make the arrangements.
It cost me over £200 to have my “FREE FITTING” carpets laid….!!
If you don’t want to be scammed go somewhere else, their “FREE FITTING” is a lie, and they know full well there’s NO FREE FITTING, but they still advertise it.

Got charged more because had it had to be ordered in is a bit of a joke and the fitter is acomplete prick

Thanks for the carpet fitter stephen who came back yesterday to stretch me carpet back in place well satisfied would recommend him through united carpets and thanks to the young lady who I went in yesterday and she accted on it straight away great shop always satisfied

Mike in store was v knowledgeable and helpful when we were picking out our carpets. Had a fantastic selection to choose from. Our installer (sorry don’t know his name but he worked alone) was very polite and friendly, quick turnaround and also shared some tips on looking after the carpets. Great experience, will be using again in the near future!

We have used them previously for our bedroom carpets, so used them for our lounge and snug, quick service, friendlyand helpful, they have a good selection of colours, are helpful on the carpet pile and which is best for each room. The fitters are friendly, work cleanly and know their job. Will be using them for our stairs and landing again shortly

Excellent customer service and carpet is excellent

Orderd and paid for a product that was discontinued, took 2 weeks to be told this ,then had to look for a replacement so project put back

Great service, ordered a bed and carpet and very pleased with both

Really don't like putting bad reviews on.. the carpet it's self is fine but the carpet fitter went a be mad with the spray glue and got it on the walls which had be recently decorated which I can't get off..
Also asked for new grippers which weren't put down. I did ring the shop and they said to use white spirit to get the glue of but this hasn't helped sadly.

Great shop! Good choice of carpets. staff really friendly and helpful advising on what type of carpet goes where best. Had our first room fitted this morning and really really pleased with the outcome. Fantastic value for money. Booked to have the rest of downstairs fitted. Won’t go anywhere else now! Highly recommend!!

Excellent service and carpets and kitchen lino

Avoid this company at all costs. Very rude. Came in and because we was moving the dryer he started swearing and being aggressive. Saying he hasn't got time for this shit. And left. It would of took him longer to get the rolls of lino out of the van than it would of took for me move dryer. Tried to complain to the company but said we can't as they are only storage. Ridiculous. So after waiting 2 months for flooring to be fitted we got to wait another week and half. Disgusting company with Disgusting rude workers....
I have just gone to go outside and the worker has slammed my door that hard it's come out the frame. So now my house isn't secure. I've got a scared and upset autistic child here who is asking why the bad man was swearing and shouting and why has he slammed the door like that. She now scared people are coming to break into the house. There's a 2 inch gap all around my door frame now. And door won't shut or lock properly

Very good experience, seller Dave was good. Carpet fitter was lovely but was very friendly and talkative. He did a good job but took ages 😂. Honestly though a good all round service. Thank you.

Went to United Carpets when I was looking to replace my living room carpet. The help and advise that I was given by Jonathan was very good and I felt no pressure.
Carpet and underlay selected, paid for and fitting date arranged. I feel I must mention the fitter that was sent to my house. Jez was very friendly and did a wonderful job.

It was brilliant carpet at an affordable price for me anyway, the customer service especially Mike did a wonderful job of making sure the carpet was right and that the measurements were right hence the home visit, the only slight negative point was that when the fitter came out he did not ring when he arrived he just looked through the window and thought I wasn’t in when I was in the back yard and didn’t hear him knock.
