The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic with regular update's to haveing the impressions completed they find the nearest place that does this for you with professional results highly recommend this company for quality you get what you pay for and this proves it

Very good communication from ultimate ear, although I’ve not tried them in a gig situation they fit very well and sound brill when played through my iPhone

Having heard good reports about the Bluetooth Soundear I decided to order a pair. When I received the product and linked them to my phone, I was instantly disappointed with the sound quality, particularly when you relate it to the cost. Granted I could have purchased the Soundear Pro, but that was another £100, and at £339 plus the cost of having the ear impressions taken, I felt this was too much, but I was of the belief that spending £200+ the Soundears would be comparable in sound quality to a relatively cheap (£50)pair of HUAWEI I have. They weren’t, the sound quality is ‘tinny,’ literally no bass and of low quality. The frustrating part is that if I’d have known this from the start I would have reluctantly ordered the Pro model. I am convinced that if the website was more transparent in the difference in quality between the Soundear and the Pro, there would be more sales towards the Pro and happier customers, as I am sure there are customers out there who have done what I have and are equally disgruntled as me. All that said, I tested them yesterday on the bike, and as I am primarily using them for the Sat Nav, rather than constantly listening to music, they do ‘what it says on the tin’, albeit you just have to accept the ‘tinny’ sound quality. On a plus note they fit well in the ears and they have cut down the wind noise. So in summary, it is a good product, but too expensive for the sound quality you receive. Last point, when you send the silicone eat impressions to them they recommend sending them with signed special delivery (which clearly adds more cost), but to be honest I didn’t mind that as you are reassured that they will receive them. However, when they send them back to you, they are just put in the standard post, irrespective of the value they are. So no tracking and no way of any guarantee of you receiving them, after all our Royal Mail post service is shockingly bad. This is obviously done to cut their shipping costs. Makes me wonder how many complaints they have received about products which customers don’t receive?

Quick, with more discounts on the more you buy. I have been a customer for 8 years approx now, and It works out cheaper sending my ear impressions each time. They fit very well also.

Great service and a great product. I’ve had trouble with bad ear plugs for years. Barely made any difference when I was out all day on the old Bike. But these are a whole different entity. They block out the noise and my ears aren’t ringing after a ride. I really recommend the outlay to help save a very important sense, your hearing, worth every penny I think.

Great company, friendly helpful staff, reasonable prices for the items I bought, I will use them again.
Update I now have 3 set of earplugs from this company.
Sleep earplugs which are great for me as a nightshift worker for blocking the noises around the house.
Motorbike earplugs, these significantly reduce road noise without blocking the sound of my bike or my comm's in helmet speakers.
Work earplugs which are metal detectable, these are really comfortable for my 12 hour shifts, a little fiddly to put in, but once in block up to 30db's of sound.
I also have the cases for each pair of plugs these make good safe storage for the plugs.
As a person with Tinnitus I find all of these earplugs beneficial and would recommend this company every time.

it took some time to get my ear plugs with no fault of Ultimate hearing protection i have tinnitus and sensitive hearing so cant drive far but the people at Ultimate hearing protection sorted a place to get my ear impressions done close to my home customer service by phone no messing around with emails a real good company to deal with ..thank you guys

Second purchase from Ultimate Ear Protection. Always a good experience for what is a custom product. Far more comfortable in both fitment and attenuation than an off the shelf item. Worth the money every time.

I'm now on my 5th (at least) set of sleeper plugs, they are absolutely amazing at blocking out background noise and even better when a few years ago they introduced their "side sleeper" range (of which I'm on my 2nd pair). they slot into your ears with ease and after a bit of "getting used to them" but after that i hardly know they're in. Even better now they have a digital copy of my ear moulds so i don't have to keep them for a few years and then try and remember where i stored them to send them back when i require new ones. Please be aware that they will now send you to a local (to you) hearing place to get your moulds done if you require them (£30 minimum) and then you send the moulds to them to get your plugs.
