We had a problem with delivery
We had a problem with delivery - a damaged door and a wrong order. This took some sorting out but our dealings with Linda Blake at customer services was excellent and the situation was resolved within a couple of days. The key was quick response to emails, something unfortunately not common these days!

Found the doors I wanted, great service & price
After much searching I found the oak doors I wanted on UK Oak doors for a good price. I needed advice on trimming and then on finalising the order so called the support line. I was answered quickly without any robot preliminaries, Lily was very helpful, answered my questions and secured me a discount too. A refreshingly positive experience.

I wrote a glowing review on the day we ordered doors from the showroom. (December 2024),However since then, things have gone downhill. We ordered 5 doors with no knots - as we saw in the showroom. When they arrived two of them were obviously very knotty. To save inconvenience on both sides, we accepted these as they were going upstairs. We weren’t thrilled, but it seemed the easiest way to deal with this. When the final of the three downstairs doors arrived, two were exactly as we had ordered, but one was very knotty. These three doors are all situated together so it would have looked very odd to have one door so different from the others. We explained the problem again - and so eventually the wrong door was picked up and at the same time a new one was delivered - with exactly the same problem. Now, they basically don’t want to know. So far 2 out of the 5 doors we ordered are correct. And so far, I would say find somewhere else for your doors.

Absolutely terrible—a complete and utter waste of time and effort!
1. The website wouldn’t even let me select home delivery.
2. The chatbot? Useless—it didn’t work at all.
3. The customer service line? Only open until midday. 4. How is that acceptable in 2024?
5. I rang the company, only to be told the solid oak door I wanted was out of stock. Fine, I asked about a second solid oak door—guess what? Out of stock as well, with a restock date of April 2025. What kind of business doesn’t stock its key products?
6. Settled for a third option, a composite door. Finally, some progress—or so I thought. Shortly afterwards, I received an email stating that it, too, was out of stock.
7. Had to request a refund twice, only to be told it would take 5–7 days. Brilliant. Just what everyone wants—more waiting.
8. And the cherry on top? A smug response from customer support telling me not to contact them again because they “can’t speed up the banks.” What an absolute joke.
This is a shoddy, two-bit company pretending to be a large and efficient organisation. Don’t be fooled by their façade. Avoid at all costs!

Great Showroom, poor after sales service
They have a great showroom and they were very helpful when I visited so I placed an order as I don't like buying stuff like doors unseen from an internet only retailer.
The quoting process wasn't quite so good as it was fairly slow to get a response but their after sales is really poor.
From my first visit and first quote I was ordering pre-finished doors but as the quote was amended somewhere the doors were changed to unfinished but each time the quote was changed I only checked the changes.
When I raised the issue they weren't interested in helping as they just say I "ordered" unfinished doors and won't admit they made a mistake even when proved to them they just stop answering emails.

Really awful costumer service
Really awful costumer service. They have no idea what is in stock and you might be surprised to find that what was confirmed to be standard stock after you paid will have a lead time of 8 weeks. Very sloppy.
