Salesman Stephen in the Lisburn showroom did a great job of explaining what could or could not be done. This was followed up by Nigel calling at our house and looking at the possibilities in more detail. The work was begun slightly earlier than we had anticipated but this was no problem. Ciaran the builder and his men carried out the required building work efficiently and neatly with as little disruption as possible. Tony and Gary the fitters who installed the double glazing units were also first class. Throughout the process all members of staff with whom we came into contact were friendly and helpful, advising us of when they would be with us and turning up on time! We are delighted with the conservatory we now have and would have no hesitation in recommending Turkingtons.

From the moment I walked into the Turkingtons Lisburn store and met Michael, the service I received was excellent. Michael asked what I wanted, but then suggested things I hadn’t considered or issues we may have come up against and ways around them.

Nigel oversaw the project from completing the survey, overseeing the building/construction work and checking finally that everything was completed to a high standard. All the workmen employed did an excellent job, builders, fitters, electrician, plasterers, tilers and cleaners. Workers who took a pride I their jobs and weren’t scared of hard work.

I would definitely recommend Turkingtons.

Went into ur Lisburn shop and was welcomed by two gentlemen. Brian was the fella helped us out asked what sort off price we had in mind showed us different types off doors picked the door we liked then showed us different types off letter boxes handles & knockers would definitely recommend Brian to family & friends

Recently had a new door fitted. Great service and especially Brian Luke who looked after us extremely well. Service excellence from start to finish. Fitters did an amazing job and cleaned up after themselves

Brilliant service and friendly staff, triple glazed windows really do make our house a lot warmer.

A fantastic experience. Two groups of workers helped to deliver a first class service ie replacement of windows/plastic roof with state of the art new double glazed windows throughout. Money well spent

We had our front door and surround replaced by Turkingtons and are delighted with the result. From the measuring to the installation we can’t fault with the workmanship. We would definitely recommend them.

We hired Turkingtons in June 21 to install new windows in December 21. The whole experience has been a nightmare from start to finish, which over 10 months later still isn’t finished the fitters dropped silicone all over my block paving at the front, side and back of the house. They also burnt my sons bedding by setting something hot on it if I listed all the problems they caused there wouldn’t be space here All the excuses they have made and the fact that it’s gone on for nearly a year is a scandal they seem to think £238 is sufficient compensation for the hassle they have caused us our first set of windows were installed in 1988 in 2 days and all we had to clear up was dust Do yourself a favour and find a decent company to install windows I so wish I’d read these reviews before they were hired I’ve everything in writing so I’m going to try and contact a solicitor to see if we have a case we can bring against them
I have asked several times to speak to the managing director about this but it has been ignored

The managing director got in touch with me and very quickly resolved the issues which involved everything would be sorted
The blocks are going to be sorted out soon by the person who installed them, and the bathroom window replaced because of the mark inside the glass and hopefully that will be everything sorted out

I would absolutely never recommend Turkingtons. you could not even make up the problems we have had with our installation and the products themselves. We had our windows and doors fitted in June 2019 and have had nothing but problems. The hinges couldn't hold our front door (composite) which was also bowed and not sealed underneath - had to be replaced with an extremely small non wheelchair friendly as apparently this was only way to fix it, front floor to ceiling windows replaced, wind whistling in, patio doors replaced at least twice - they were filling with water (aluminium) and still not fit for purpose( water runs down the inside) - apparently a new set were ordered to be here June 22 but haven't taken my calls or emails since to see where they disappeared to. Totally disgraceful , full of empty promises , products not fit for purpose at all, expensive to pay for extremely low quality - do not waste your money on this company!!

I wish I could give a minus number.....we had a lot of work done at our home by turkington including external building work. The finish is terrible and actually dangerous. The after care was shocking we have had numerous "service-people" out to "fix" the sub-standard work and they have made it worse. When they were due to put our conservatory on they opened up the rear wall and "forgot" to seal off the gouse over the weekend.....rain equalled a flooded house.They were all talk and good customer experience until they got their final payment which we tried to withhold until they threatened legal action. Was dealing with Nigel who we asked not to deal with, was then dealing with Jonathan who doesn't return calls.

Absolutely dreadful ... Ordered treble glazing for my small bungalow, 7 windows + Front & Rear doors ... they have taken over 3 years to complete the install and it's still not finished ... they have continuously supplied cracked, stained, frosted units to my home ... zero quality control ... numerous emails & phone calls to Iris and Jonathan have not resolved this nightmare, they have messed me about something awful ... I took time off work as fitters were to attend, no show, not even a tx to say they were not attending ... disgraceful ... Got so frustrated with their incompetence I took them to Lisburn Magistrates Court where I settled 'out of court' for a large discount, I regret my decision. Buy elsewhere.

I would never recommend Turkington Windows. Their aftercare service is terrible. I don't know how many times I've tried to get through to after sales...no one wants to know. Any after problems they are very unhelpful and don't want to know. I wish I had known this before I paid them for my newbuild windows. Stay clear

We had previously bought all our windows from Turkingtons and were delighted with them. When the time came to replace the front door we didn't hesitate to return to them. The salesperson was Andrew Scott. He was so helpful without being pushy. I have a disability and he made sure I was able to manage the door we were choosing. We also ordered replacement obscure glass for the 2 bathrooms beside the front door. Andrew was very knowledgeable and suggested an excellent glass that means all 3 glazed units now complement each other.
The fitters were also great. They were very tidy workers and left the house exactly as they found it. There wasn't a mark on the wallpaper. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Turkingtons

VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE

I would not recommend Turkingtons to anyone, I gave one star because I wasn’t able to give zero! There was absolutely no customer service, all correspondence was by text from a rude conservatory Manager, despite the work carried out costing a considerable amount of money.

I contacted Johnathon on 7 July 2021 to discuss my disappointment at how the work at my home had been carried out and the rude attitude of the person who was supposed to oversee the work. I did not hear from him, I phoned again on 25 August, I did get to speak to Johnathon, he listened to my gripes and concerns and asked me to give him a few days. It is now 12 October 2021 and I still have not had the courtesy of a reply in all that time so understandably I will NEVER recommend Turkingtons’s to anyone!

I bought triple glazed windows door & patio doors plus I had my eves etc replaced by turkington .
I’ve had them out several times with problems. Doors not closing properly,side window needing replaced and my upstairs window leaking water. They came out and fixed the 1st 2 but the leaking window....still waiting. Recommend them NO under no circumstances. Very worried and very disappointed.

Turkington s (see below) have asked me to contact them! I have constantly been in touch with Iris and James over the years .I have sent pictures of the water marking my wall the latest last month January before even thinking of putting this review on trustpilot. Still waiting ....
James persisted with my leaking window problem and fingers crossed it has now been sorted Thank you James for your kind help and determination.
