Terrible experience - do not use!
I had booked a collection with Tuffnells for a next day delivery, via Interparcel.com, for 31st Jan but they never turned up. It rolled over to 1st Feb but again no one turned up. Extremely annoying and inconvenient, as I had stayed in both days as they only specify a collection time from 9am to 5pm. Interparcel said to wait until 7pm but still no show. I tried to get in contact with Tuffnells but despite there being many numbers for them on the internet, NONE are working.
In the end, I had to get a refund from Interparcel and re-book with Proovia but they can't collect until 6th Feb, which means that the delivery to our customer has been delayed by almost a week. It's no wonder Tuffnells are in administration!
Appalling dont use this company
Appalling, Don't use this company. One of the worst companies. I had a collection booked with them via Interparcels for collection on 30 January 2024 between 0900 and 1700 - they didnt appear, then it was between 0900 and 1900 - they didn't appear but I was assured that they would come "first thing tomorrow morning" (31st) No sign of the driver to collect. Then told they would collect by 1700 hours, they didn't. Very difficult to get any satisfaction on line chat with Interparcel and the telephone numbers given for Tuffnells were all inoperable. I made the mistake of not checking Trustpilot before I used them ... be warned - an appalling outfit. THey never showed up and I had to take the parcel to parcel force
The absolute worst couriers in the UK
The absolute worst couriers in the UK. Booked a next day collection via Interparcel… no-one turned up. I cancelled, got a refund and booked another courier. THREE WEEKS later a tuffnells courier randomly turned up to collect the parcel! An absolute joke from start to finish. Avoid at all costs.

You sent me an email for delivery for today between 8am and 6pm i took the day off ( lost a days pay ) and guess what you didn't turn up, So i would appreciate you don't make appointments you cant make . I'm not impressed.

Failure to deliver then fictional delivery update
Ordered a mattress from Hypnia 26 Dec, they use Tuffnells/Shift for deliveries. Shift tracking recorded receipt of item from supplier 03 Jan 24 then no change to status. Emailed Hypnia 3 times and called 3 times...promised delivery twice, not delivered.
This morning at 0850 I receive a Shift message saying item just delivered. It wasn't! I was at home, overlooking the front of my property located at the end of a cul-de-sac....plus I have a front camera system. This company is a disgrace. Have contacted them and Hypnia yet again.

Underlay says was delivered no real way to contact them to say where ever it was delivered was not the adress given, photo provided looks liek it's in a warehouse, no reply from the automated ways to get in contact, scared not that ive lost 150 pounds.

I barely want to offer 1 star. Tuffnells epitomises all that is wrong with logistics companies. If youorder something from a company and they give you a choice of delivery. Don’t choose the Tuffnells option. Their ‘helpful’ web based tracking isn’t updated for a start. They don’t show up when promised and there’s no way of talking to anyone at the company! No telephone number. Not even a chat bot. How can a business in this day and age operate like that?! It is truly astonishing that this company is still in business.

I have commented on here as no way of contacting the company. Had a delivery today that I was emailed to say would come 2 days ago. After waiting in all day and no show, tracking did not update. Now two days on and no update it has arrived with all 6 boxes having damage to them. When Hubby refused to sign the driver did it himself (Not legal as far as I am aware).Then a text came through to say I was having the delivery with them date of two days ago and two mins later you have received it (can't even get this right) Disgraceful service.

I ordered a steel lintel, received a tracking number for Tuffnells, (Yp9C1jZMYGMLYbDT) I was pleasantly surprised to see that delivery would be 08.00-16.00 Thursday 4/1, nothing further heard, nothing arrived. Re-visited tracking (next day) same information, clicked on the 'help' button, several options, tried all of them over the next few days, all showed 'we will look into this & get back to you', or 'we will contact the driver & get back to you', none of that happened, STILL nothing here 10/1, tracking hasn't changed from initial, no response from courier, seller has now stopped responding, so I'm in a time-wasting E-Bay case, to get refund so I can buy elsewhere.
Why have a 'help' button, if nobody looks at it, or rects to what they see......?
Rotten Customer Service
My whole day was wasted due to Tufnells failing to collect a pick up. They initially stated that the pick up would be made by 1700 which then moved to 1900 and then to 2300! The pick up was never carried out. This is appalling customer service.

Ordered next day delivery on the 26th December 2023. Today is the 7th January. No delivery, no contact number on their website and no idea how I contact them. I'll be contacting the original supplier and requesting money back for using a terrible courier. There's a reason people use DHL, Amazon, UPS or DPD...

I wouldn’t even give this company a 1. Paid for a collection on 2nd Jan and for next day delivery. We are still waiting 4 days later, no reason, no apology and no compensation. Our goods will now not get back in time and will lose a £500 refund. Utterly disgusted that a company thinks it acceptable to do business like this. Not not use this company.

Ordred parcel through Interparcel service from Tuffnells. Service was booked fo 20th of December, unfortunately no one came to pick it up. When I call Interparcel I was informed that because I booked the service on 19th but after 7pm they couldn't come on 20th. Unfortunately if Tuffnells miss the pick up date by they mistake they do not reschedule the collection automaticly for next day. You have to call and book it for another avaliable day what in my case was 22nd of December. I re-book it for after the X-mas to avoid my parcel getting stuck in the warehouse for 4 days. I did call again on 27th,28th,29th of December and 2nd,3rd nad 4th of January. Every time I call I was informed that parcel will be picked up the next day. Finally I had to cancel I book some other service. I used this company in the past with similar results. Only advantage they have is that they accept large parcels (which I send often). I am not surprised that they went bancroupt in the past and with that level of service I believe they would not last long this time.
P.S. There is no direct contact number to get any updates on the couriers so if you order directly from them you probaby stuck to sending emails only.

I have checked the tracking this morning and it now gives a date and time for Wednesday. Still no contact from Tufnell.
Given a delivery date for 29th December between 8am till 6pm. It is now 1st January and no delivery or update. Still showing original delivery info on tracking and no response to any of my queries.
Tuffnells - not a reliable company
I have only used this company once, and once is too much.
They have no idea on any level from CEO to the delivery guys on how to run a courier service.
Booked a parcel for next day delivery and the did not collect the parcel until the next day without an explanation or apology.
There tracking does not track as a day later it still only showed Booked.
My parcel will now not arrive until after Christmas, when? Who knows...they don't for sure.
I paid for a next day service and that for sure is not the service I'm getting.
