25/11/2022 i placed an order with retailer “Trendstory” for 3 bridesmaid dresses for my wedding on 19th June
29/12/2022 I chased up my order and was advised feb / March for delivery
27/02/2023 I chased for an update on delivery
03/03/2023 I was advised that to ensure I would receive the dresses by mid April they would re raise the order via their showroom. I was refunded for the initial order and paid the same amount again under a new order reference
06/04/2023 I asked for an update on the dresses and was advised due to be finished around 20th April
02/05/2023 I chased the order again
06/05/2023 I chase the order again
10/05/2023 I’m advised the tracking looks like it hasn’t been scanned by the courier and they are concerned. They advise me they do not make this dress anymore and will update once they have further information from courier
19/05/2023 I contact as I have not received an update and ask for a full refund so I can source bridesmaids dresses in time elsewhere
19/05/2023 I’m offered to order another style which I decline based on my current experience. I am then advised that a refund will take 30 days which i find unacceptable when I needed to source other dresses. I’m told the refund will be processed.
15/06/2023 I follow up to ensure I will receive a refund on 19/06 and receive a response asking if I filled out a cancellation form. I respond to say no, I was never asked to complete this and provide a copy of the message on 19/05 stating my refund will be processed - I express my disappointment - I was never asked to do this but I’m told this has to be completed to process a refund. I complete the form and receive confirmation it’s received
21/06/2023 I chase up the refund and I am advised I need to wait another 30 days from the returned cancellation form. I ask who the company is regulated by and advised the retail ombudsman.
24/07/2023 I have to ask a friend to contact Trendstory as they have blocked me! Make up a lie that it’s been refunded and I need to contact my bank. I’ve reached out to my bank and also raised a case with the retail ombudsman.

I struggled to find bridesmaid dresses for my wedding as all my bridesmaids are different shapes and sizes. I went to visit Trend Story and absolutely loved the dresses that Maria had. Maria was friendly and patient and listened carefully to what we wanted. We chose a beautiful sequin dress that fitted each of them so perfectly as we were also provided with alterations. Everyone at the wedding commented on how nice the dresses were and I couldn't be happier. Excellent service, beautiful dresses, would highly recommend. I would definitely buy from there again.

I ordered bridesmaid dresses in November for my wedding in March 2023. After waiting the 2-7 days for the dresses to be made and up to 12 working days for shipping, stated on their website, I messaged the company for an update. I was advised, as it was nearing Christmas, it would be dispatched in January. Long story short, they informed me that the dresses take 12 weeks to make (getting me closer to my wedding date) After looking for assurances that I would receive it prior to my wedding, they then said the dresses take 6 months to make and canceled my order without consultation! Just to summarise, we have gone from 2-7 days to 12 weeks to 6 months!

My "refund was processed" and I was advised to wait 30 working days for the funds to reach my bank. 30 working days later, no refund. I called my bank and they processed a chargeback for me. The following day, I received an email and a DM on Instagram from Trend Story, asking me to cancel this as it "causes a lot of problems for them"  - what about leaving me with less than 12 weeks to find alternative bridemaids dresses?! After doing my research, companies get fined for any chargebacks that are raised and deemed in the customers favour. The bank informed me that Trend Story hadn't been in touch to contest the chargeback and I finally had my refund. Why would you not contest this if the refund was processed, as they said?

I went to Trend Story to choose my maid of honour dress for my sisters wedding and Maria was nothing but professional and helpful throughout! She let me try on as many dresses on as I wanted, made me feel comfortable and was a pleasure to be around. I went back to see Maria a handful of times whilst I came to a decision on my dress, which was a bespoke rose gold sequin slit dress. She took my measurements and the dress came in time for the wedding. It was the perfect fit, but Maria even offered free tailoring on my dress at the time. I had a lovely experience all round and would definitely use Trend Story again in the future! I loved my dress, felt confident on the day and had so many people asking me where my dress was from! Thank you Maria ♥️

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM

If I could give no stars that is hoe bad this company is. Order a dress for my daughter's prom on the 20th May - it did state 1-12 days delivery, so after the 12 days with no dress I emailed them. They sent me a screen shot of an attempted delivery by Evri, no order number, name or address visible, then said I would have to take it up with Evri. However the attempted deliveries were made on the day I made my order, and BEFORE I had sent it out to them. I pointed this out in an email, and i was sent a tracking number - I have pressed the link and for the last 4 DAYS Evri have been waiting for the parcel to be sent to them so they can deliver.

I have request a full refund, but of course they are not responding to my emails, there has been no apology hence why this is the first time I have taken the time to write a review.

Beware of this company.
