I needed help with a particular problem and only found it on Transtutors. The answer was blurred out but had 15 5 star reviews so I figured it must be correct. I purchased the $17.99 subscription (which is a ridiculous price even it wasn't a scam) only to see that the answer was absolutely made up and not even close to correct. I managed to cancel the subscription but didn't hear back about my refund requests. Luckily I won the chargeback case. All 5 star reviews on this website are fraud as well and I encourage you to report them as well as continuing to add 1 star reviews to get this site shut down.

This website doesn't even deserve a single satr. In Dec 2024, I signed up for tutor help via their site not really knowing what I'd get out of it, nothing, a lot of spam emails and no help responses. I emailed them to cancel, and had to go back and forth multiple time just to get that done, all for them to cancel it then charge my card again in Jan for a new ​subscription. I emailed them to refund my money and explained what had already happened, but didn't need to as its the same person doing their customer service emails. I did not sign back up for this service, and they will not refund me. I'm reporting them and unfortunately canceling my debit card all because of this horrible experience. I know it happens to people all the time, I just hope this keeps someone else from falling for this trap like I did. Transtutors.com is a complete fraud and a joke.

This company is a total scam. I can't stress this enough! I tried Transtutors for the 3 free days. I went into this company comparing it to Chegg. I couldn't fathom paying $20 a month when half the problems you need help with, tutors don't explain in detail but rather give you the answer. To some, that may be great but for me personally, I wanted to learn the material and understand it. I went to end my subscription (the free one) the second day when I felt it wasn't what I needed. When going to end the subscription they offered the membership for $10 a month. I sat and thought, I'd rather pay $10 than $20 with Chegg and was willing to give it another chance despite not getting a detailed explanation of the problems. On day three I got a notification from my bank that $19.99 was approved for Transtutors. I reached out to the company immediately to resolve the issue as were agreed I would pay $10. The customer service phone number doesn't link up to the company and you're forced to communicate with them by email. When I went back on the website to cancel the membership together they didn't give me the option to do so until I reloaded the page multiple times and it finally popped up, When it was canceled it was fully removed where the company and I ever agreed to pay $10. I already knew right then and there this place was trying to scam me. Too bad too sad that I screenshotted the agreement of $10 and submitted it as part of my email. I spoke with Aliyah Scott and I was informed that because no specific tutor answered my question the deal doesn't apply...WHAT?! The company tried to keep my business when attempting to cancel, hence why they offered me half the price. The company informed me that it was part of their refund policy but the company failed to explain that to customers when agreeing to the membership. It's up to you to find the terms and agreements and the website makes that impossible to find to begin with. In theory, if the company had explained this policy and made it clear to the customer about this policy, the company would have a leg to stand on. Because they didn't make this clear in any way shape or form this company can be declared as a scam. Although it's only $20 it's still money they don't deserve. I'm still talking with the company and will not stop until this issue is resolved. I'm hoping I can save someone else the $20. This company needs to be shut down. A total SCAM!!!

The site does pays and is legit in terms of helping students and paying tutors. But the pay is very very less. Students and tutors do not directly talk on price. An intermediary acts in between them to talk the price. Huge assignments like almost a two three weeks kind of work is asked for around INR 1450. Now recently I came across someone who said he paid $150 for a work and I was being given around INR 1500 ( i.e $18) . Now this I came to know after talking with the student on chat. I dont know if the student or site is playing with me. But I can say this for certain, payment is like $10-$20 for even big assignments.

When they cannot solve your questions on time, they send incorrect solutions just to meet the deadline. When you request a refund, they make you wait and delay for weeks without paying you back.

This company is a scam and does not pay its workers, it also is misleading to its customers.

In contrast, my experience with Teratutors for another class has been positive. However, a word of caution: ensure payment arrangements are transparent. It might be wise to negotiate installment payments, allowing you to monitor progress before committing to full payment, especially when dealing with class fees or exam-related services.

Absolutely a scam. Operating as Transtutors-dot-com, they have a Fresno California cell phone number (559-702-8922) as contact number and a business address at a "we Work"-type shared office space in Albany NY. It is impossible to reach them by telephone to ask questions or to cancel monthly subscription. Their answer to our first and only question was so laughably bad that we suspected a scam immediately and then spent over two weeks trying to contact them to cancel. Finally blocked them on my credit card. Scam Scam Scam. Disgusting little benchodes who have nothing to offer the world so they steal.

Sign up requires monthly auto-renew to active with no way to turn it off unless you cancel the subscription. Upon canceling the subscription you loose access immediately. I.e. I paid 25$ for a 30 day subscription, cancelled the subscription immediately prevent auto-renewal next month, immediately lost access to paid subscription content. Contacted their customer support explaining that I am suppose to have access for the next 30 days, they pointed to the term & conditions said once a subscription is cancelled your access is revoked immediately. Huge scam and in violation of several consumer rights laws.

The experts did conduct adequate research for the work I have provided due to which my result was considered accurate hence this does meet the requirements of my assignment.

They faked having an answer ready, took a payment, despite having a week with free subscription. Total scam.

The lack of loyalty towards its participants has been evident since my first session with Transtutors. I had expected a platform that would offer comprehensive support, but was instead met with subpar customer service and an unresponsive platform. The company’s policies and procedures were never clearly explained, leaving its users to be in the dark about their rights and responsibilities.

The unresponsiveness of the platform added to the problem. I struggled to get in contact with a customer service representative who could answer my questions and concerns. I was met with lengthy waiting times or no response at all, leaving me feeling frustrated and helpless.

They stated that their platform was secure, however, the structure and policies indicated otherwise. For example, there was a lack of verification for users, leaving tutors and students vulnerable to the possibility of fraud.

Overall, my experience with Transtutors has been anything but satisfactory. The company has failed to be loyal to its participants, offering nothing but a poor customer service and unresponsive platform. The payment structure has been disorganized, leaving tutors and students vulnerable to potential fraud. Furthermore, the lack of security measures has made users of the platform vulnerable to potential danger. In light of this, it is no wonder why Transtutors has far less users than other platforms offering similar services.

I requested many assignments on this platform; unless your assignment is short and can be done within one week, you will have an issue regarding delivering on time and delivering the correct assignment. They will start lying and wasting your time and even if the assignment is incomplete or incorrect, they won't refund you. I have a pending order with them, and they failed to deliver it as requested. I requested a cancellation and a refund, and they agreed to cancel but refused to refund me the amount. I will post an update about the status my order.

They are looting money from my account. I want my refund back .

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. They plagiarized me assignment twice from Chegg.com and giving me run around for refunds. “Our solution team is checking on it”is what they say
