The online shopping was good, we needed a certain size item to replace the item that had failed, and the selection was made easy as the size details were easy to find and easy to read, the item was an extremely competitive price and payment was also straight forward and easy

Delivery times are hit and miss. We ordered a large awning got it within days ordered 4 small items and the delivery updates kept changing.
From with courier for delivery to attempted delivery which didnt happen we have cctv and the items are small enough to go into letterbox to delivery dates chamging but no scheduled delivery been a week still nothing. Updated delivery times just getting later and later.

Placed an order that was in stock in July... half of it arrived, the other half on back order. Cancelled, lost my bulk buy discount - thought that was the end of it.
But no, the item that went on backorder was delivered end of September, despite me telling the driver not to deliver. Rang to inform Trade depot of their problem, and found out that I didn't get the credit for the cancelled item in July!
Was then told I'd get a refund when the item was returned. So... organised a return of the item for the next day. Should have been the end of it right?
Nope... Driver rang, couldn't find the item (where he had left it), stated no one was there and wouldn't turn around. So... I rang to get some resolution. Got told I'd get a call back tomorrow...
guess what... NO CALL !
So, rang again, demanding a refund... got the run around again, someone promising they would ring me tomorrow... guess what.... NO CALL !
So rang again, the issue got escalated, apparently they were still trying to pick up the item, but had changed my phone number on the return order?!
and guess what... a week later no return.
Appalling service, not delivering on promises, costing me money, time and effort.

Trade Depot provided a wide range of products with competitive pricing; however, the warehouse layout, car parking, and large items pick-up point make buyers not comfortable.

Oven.was delivered with dents and scuff marks on it , warming draw was dented was sent another draw but in the wrong colour told couirer I didn't except the one they tried to deliver as it was the wrong colour. Only to get the same one delivered the following week. The delivery company even signed for my delivery twice . Not good service from either of them do not recommend buying from them at all. Even if this gets sorted i will not be buying from them again I would love to return the oven and get a full refund

Went there for the 1st time yesterday. Parking guy went out of his way to find a close park for my frail husband. Then we met Jeff, a salesperson there. What a thoroughly nice and, helpful guy. We had only intended to purchase 1 big budget item, but he was so helpful we ended up purchasing 4 items. Cannot rate the service we received highly enough.

Good in store and pick up. i avoid delivery (very slow). good prices, all n all a good to shop.

The after-sales service has been an absolute nightmare.
My ceramic vanity top arrived broken. After repeated calls with customer service, I was assured the replacement and collection of the damaged one would be handled in one delivery. Instead, the driver came and only collected the broken one without delivering the replacement, completely wasting the plumber appointment I had arranged.
I also reported a faulty/noisy drawer nearly a month ago, and to this day nobody has contacted me with a solution. I even escalated the matter to their Auckland Branch Manager / National Operations Manager and received no response.
Returning or replacing a faulty product should not be this difficult. What I saved on the purchase has been completely outweighed by the extra plumbing costs, wasted time, endless chasing and stress.
Honestly, this has been after-sales service from hell.
