Bought a 65 inch Toshiba tv from Argos around 2 years ago. It’s now only showing a black screen. Phoned Toshiba helpline, the guy who answered completely guessed (wrongly) that it was a panel failure and decided it was not economic to repair it. He was rude, and absolutely no help at all. TV is broken and useless after 2 years. Avoid buying Toshiba at all costs.

This is the worst TV I’ve ever owned in 42 years. Let that sink in.

This TV has a mind of its own. It changes channels, exits apps, turns down the volume. Jumps, lags, changes screen colour. You name it, it’s possessed. Change batteries update software…. No difference.

Worse still it was a gift so I’m stuck with this utter heap of crap. I’ll never buy a Toshiba product ever again and I’ll tell everyone who’ll listen how utterly crap their tv’s are

Bought a Toshiba 50" TV Model # 50UL2163DBC in November 2021 from Argos. Exactly 2 years later TV broke down. Called Argos, was directed to Toshiba. Called them, they said cos it has passed the 1-year guarantee date there is nothing they can do. My advice? Never buy a Toshiba

As a previous reviewer has. I purchased 2 50UL2063DB. Both went faulty with identical vertical lines on the screen 1 at a year old and the other at 2 years. Crap quality. Don’t buy Toshiba. Toshiba clearly have quality problems

Brought a smartTV but it was a big mistake. Every 5-6 weeks it’s drops the internet connection and needs setting up all over again and normally takes about three or four attempts to hold!!

el 05 de junio compré un disco duro externo de una 1 tera en Amazón, lo utilicé durante unos meses y se ha petado totalmente, no lo reconoce ninguno de mis dos pc`s, he llamado a Toshiba atención al cliente y me contesta un disco indicando el servicio técnico de Aire caliente y frio. Me parece un desproposito por parte de esta firma, Os recomiendo que tengais mucho cuidado, me parece nefastos sus productos pero la firma...

I purchased the Toshiba LCD colour tv, model number 50UL2163DB from Tesco. Typical me, I threw the receipt away as I thought the tv would last me years but after 8 months the bottom half of the screen looks like it’s got interference. It clears sometimes but reverts back after a minute or two.
Absolutely crap.

Been trying to get toshiba to fix problems to my tv thats still in warranty . All they do is stall stall stall. Keep asking for photos. Now trying to tell me can't find anything wrong. They're not the one watching the rubbish screen images.

Bought a Toshiba TV from tesco in December 21snd it has broke vertical red and green lines instead of a picture.The model number for this 58inch smart TV is 58ul2163db.very angry that is 10months out of warranty.

Purchased Toshiba 50UK3163DB Smart 4K HD TV on
16/10/2021.Now just 2 years after purchase the screen
has lines running across it in 3 places.Won’t be buying any Toshiba product again.

We have only had this a few months, It mensions in the manual you may have to retune it from time to time, but, you should not have to!

We have re-tuned it twice, when traffic goes passed, the picture pixulates and, now we can't use it as, we can smell plastic melting.

The most annoying TV
There is no option to turn off the automatic standby function.
It is so annoying to pause a film, come back to find the TV has turned itself to standby. It doesn't even resume where you left off on wake up. I very much regret buying a Toshiba TV and curse the thing, every day!!! Absolute nuisance.

I have just had the worst experience with this company and there tvs i was on the phone an gave the man on the phone the date he needed the make and size off my tv and what was wrong i have had it less then 2 years and only used it atound 50 times as i have leg ulsers and i stay upstairs in my bedroom 90% off the time unless my grandchildren come i sit downstairs for no longer then 30 mins at a time and my tv is broke the screen is gone and all this man can say is take it off the wall and give me the number off the back off the tv how am i ment to do that when i have leg ulsers and i disnt put it up there in the first place i told him..i have kept my box in the back room if thats any good yes please that would be helpfull i have sturggled to get the box gave him the numbers he wanted off the box for him to just say well we carnt exchange it alls we can do is put an engineer onto it and you pay for it i have just payed £479 for this tv and couldnt get any help what ever off these people!!!!! I advice anyone to go else wear because these guys are no help what so ever i am now out off pocket 500pound an no tv absoulety disgustin

My microwave has blown up after 6 months ownership and apparently we’ve got to fix it !!! I don’t think so !!! Shocking . I need someone senior to sort this !!

Not had my tv for 2 years until the end of November , lines have appeared all across the screen.I thought it would still be under manufacturer’s guarantee, but found out after speaking to Toshiba representative, that they only guarantee tv for 365days, obviously do not stand by their product. Utterly disgraceful

The times I’ve nearly thrown the remote at the TV trying to turn it on is a nightmare just as you think it’s on then red light flashes and off it goes again is it a fault

Ive bought a 50 inch and a 32 inch ,surprisingly,not really ,both screens broke down within 18 months ,I ADVICE DONT BUY A TOSHIBA TV , ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL.

I got a TV 12months ago it is now broken I rang them up and was told to get in touch with another company wich wanted £1 to tell me wot was wrong with tv I would not buy a nother of that make

I bought a 55 inch smart Toshiba telly from Amazon january 2021. Very inexpensive. It really has been great. Just £430. The remote is a bit cheap and freezes sometimes. But the telly is lovely and so easy to navigate
