If like me you love quality, genuine antique jewellery you will love the collection at Thomas Glover. Catherine was so friendly and took the time to help me find the ring that was right for me. Great that they also offer ring sizing in their own workshop as part of the purchase price. The perfect jewellers in the heart of Shrewsbury! We will be back.

We were looking for a unique and special engagement ring. Thomas Glover was recommended to us by a friend. We found what appeared to be the perfect ring on their website and arranged to see it in their beautiful little shop.

Catherine sat with us for an hour going through everything. We were able to try a number of different rings but came back to the one we had originally gone to see.

Catherine and Andrew are obviously experts in their field, very knowledgeable, and honest. They let the jewellery sell itself. Both are very kind with no pushy sales tactics and obviously understand how a piece of jewellery needs to feel, and not just focus on technical details of stones. Catherine was able to source a wedding band of the same era that matched perfectly with the ring. Sizing and resizing were done with no issues, and the ring was posted securely.

We will definitely look back to Thomas Glover in the future.

Outstanding service and amazing jewellery! I was looking for an art deco engagement ring and after viewing many reproductions elsewhere, I finally found Thomas Glover with genuine jewellery from that era. The owners were very accommodating in letting me try on lots from their amazing range, covering all styles and budgets. They let the jewellery do the talking and there was no sales pitch or pushing at all. Not only did I find a beautiful unique engagement ring, I returned a few months later to buy an equally special 1930s wedding ring.

I looked at Thomas Glover website and I saw my perfect engagement ring, I made contact with Catherine and she sent me a few more photos and told me about the ring,
I made the purchase, had it resized, Catherine posted it out to me as I don’t live in the UK.
My package arrived after 5 days, my ring is beautiful and I absolutely love it, fits perfectly.

This is a wonderful independent jewellers offering an exceptional range of antique jewellery. I wasn't able to visit the store as I don't live anywhere near Shrewsbury, so was in contact by telephone and email. They were friendly, highly knowledgeable, and although I wouldn't usually make significant purchases without seeing them in person, I felt very reassured and confident to do so. The service I received was excellent and I am absolutely delighted.
