A very good purchase.
The watch has a very beautiful dial, especially when in the light. However, after a year of use, it broke. I emailed Earnshaw about the watch, and they answered straight away even though I bought it from a different website. I sent the watch, and it got repaired and is now fully functional.
The watch I bought was the ES-8230-02 in Marseille Blue. The dial was 42mm and had sapphire glass. It was a skeleton, and the dial was blue with gold hands and gold roman numerals as the numbers. They say the movement is in-house. However, I think it is probably a Miyota movement. The strap is leather, I am not sure if it is real leather, but it is really comfortable. The weight of the watch is good. It is a open back, so you can see both the front and back workings. The crown had indents for better grip. The buckle has an "E" sign which looks quite good.it has "EARNSHAW" written on the buckle too.
Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase.
Esthétique mais peu qualitatif
Très belle montre d'un point de vue esthétique. Moins d'un point de vue qualité comme pouvait le laisser penser le prix. Avec en moins d'un an nécessité de renvoyer 2 fois en réparation, sachant que en plus la garantie de 2 ans ne couvre pas tout obligeant le client à payer lui même les réparations.

Juste du style. La montre perds 5 minutes toutes les heures et l’aiguille des heures est mal calée, elle indique 5:00 à 16:30. Montre déjà renvoyée et retourner avec le même défaut. Ne vous faites pas d’illusion à ce tarif…

Purchased automatic watch for Xmas. Wasn’t working correctly Contacted company which turns out is in Hong Kong and not in uk Can’t return it within their 30day period as it was a xmas present and I received it on 18dec. They have offered to refund or replace if I can send it within 3 days. I have decided not to send it as I certainly don’t trust them at all. Their customer service is totally abysmal. Bought watches from company with this name in the past but it was a uk company and never had any problems. I certainly don’t believe that this is a genuine company

If I could leave zero star I would. I have a Bessemer watch that the rubber strap fell apart. Thomas Earnshaw does not even sell a replacement strap for their own watch. I’m totally willing to pay $100 for a strap and I can’t. It’s a specific shape at the pin so now the $500 watch is garbage. Absolute bs. DON’T EVER BUY THEIR WATCHES!!!

I bought 2 watches. One of them not even worn was not working at all. The second passed +2 years later. What do you expect from a watch which you can buy looking and working the same like the watches on aliexpress.
Thomas E. support did not show any flexibilty and the repairing company Mistral made an offer to repair the watches for almost like the same price like a new one.

I puchased one of these watches and for anyone who is thinking about buying them for their nice price DONT! Their support is the absolute worst I havent seen anything like this before, literally non-existent. No response on polite emails, you literally cant even submit a question to support team on their website, it literally doest allow you! The watch itself looks way better on the photos. When you have it in hand you can feel the chinese quality (very cheap) I was very disappointed by that. Overall really bad, not even worth the lower price. AVOIT AT ALL COST!

I bought a watch. tw after 7 days a part in it separated. they told me to send the watch to London, but as I see it I will do it privately because it will cost me more if I send it to them. in the end, I had to pay the customs fee, which was supposedly written somewhere at the bottom in small letters, as a hidden cost. I do not recommend shopping in this store.

My experience with this company was absolutely the worst!!! They’re products are not worth the money that they cost!!! And the warranty is a gimmick!!! If you send a watch to get fixed they’re goin to say it’s not covered under warranty if if you’re item is having the very issue stated in the warranty policy! Not English not since 1805
I was looking into buying one of these watches, however, I discovered they are not from London, they have no connection with Thomas Earnshaw and certainly haven’t been making watches since 1805 as their branding suggests.
Shocking service and communication
Ordered a watch on December 26th and by January 7th still had not received order confirmation or postage confirmation. Only once I contacted Thomas Earnshaw via messenger as I could not find a direct email did they get back to me with shipping information (two days later).
I still have not received the item and the shipping information shows the item arriving at the Wearhouse then attempting to be delivered 3 days in a row, which was not the case as I was home all three alleged delivery attempts and did not receive my item or a note to say a delivery had been attempted.
The item then sat at the FedEx facility for 10 days before being returned to sender.
I have had no further communication from Thomas Earnshaw despite sending multiple messages.

The watch was a gift
The watch was a gift. Looked great, self winding, see through case, really nice. Watch started gaining time, contacted customer service and promptly after conducting a test, arranged to send watch to Hong Kong for replacement. Great I got a replacement. Within weeks, and I hadn't worn it a lot during that time, I went to pull crown out to change the time, only issue was I couldn't get the crown out. I tried over a few hours, every time scared I would damage the gift I was given. Gave it one more try, and guess what came out, the crown and the pin attached to it. Bugger!
Pushed the crown back in. Watch still works only issue is I have to start wearing it at the time it last stopped on. That's ok, shouldn't have been that hard if you ask me.
Contacted support and long story short, I have to return it to Hong Kong (again), they'll look at it and if it's under warranty, they'll replace or fix. If it's not a warranty issue they'll send me a quote. The watch is still under warranty.....
I won't be sending it back, I'll wear it at the time shown and let it self wind. Not sure I would offer these watches as a gift. No watch should have this many issues and not having someone in Australia makes it more difficult. Guess I could take to a watchmaker.
