AVOID! I recently ordered an Mantis that did not turn up. I sent three emails to express concern and this was over a week ago! And I have had no response! The Mantis did end up arriving but obviously later then expected but whether it was an issue with Royal mail or not, its that fact that I got no response from the shop, very poor customer service or care for the animals they are selling. I get that control is out of your hands when the animals have been despatched but its the fact the shop made no contact or response to my messages.

The Mantis was not in great shape either when it arrived. Avoid the stress and disappointment by avoiding this company. I will be going elsewhere from now on. Customer Service is shocking!

I recently ordered a tarantula from The Spider Shop and my order was initially scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, but due to the cold weather they emailed and mentioned that it would arrive later which shows their concern for the safe arrival of their animals.. I had another tarantula arriving soon and mentioned my need for the equipment I had in my order which without hesitation they shipped the next day to get to me before my other T did. They sent my T out desperately which arrived safely yesterday..
I've ordered previously from the spider shop too last year I got 3 slings which all arrived safely and are all thriving. Before that I also ordered a jumping spider which ended up passing a couple days after arriving and the spider shop sent out another one for me straight away. Thank you spider shop for the great customer service always willing to help with anything I need and always the safe arrival for the spiders I've ordered. 10/10 always the first shop I recommend to anyone

Amazing can’t recommend enough bought nice jumping spider enclosure the I bust one part putting together (my fault) and they sent replacement in 2 days. Be using them again for sure well done team

Asked if I could get a Tarantula delivery while being in France. No answer yet.

Got my first invertebrate from them, a Regal jumping spider. Packaged safe and well, and good communication so you can be in for delivery. They will delay in bad weather conditions such that your invertebrate is safe, and in the winter include a heating pack. My new girl was very timid (jumped out the pack the second i lifted the paper towel), but in the last two weeks she's definitely warmed to me, and now accepts fruit flies from tweezers. Buying some bigger livefood from the spidershop, and am planning my next invertebrate... 🕷️🦂

I have never had a problem with TSS. I have had quite a lot of Tarantulas and other equipment from them and they always arrive on time and in great condition. All tarantulas have heat pads when shipping in cold weather. They are great people to talk to when you need to, and if something happens to your order, like they haven't got want you first ordered anymore due to unforeseen circumstances, they are happy to rectify it. Great breeder great people.

Animals always fine but £6.60 delivery just for some fly castors is absurd!
Also find it poor that they don’t sell rotting logs or rotten wood to help with up keep and care of the beetles they sell.
I’ve asked 3/4 times now, I check at least once a week and it is never online.

The site has good selection and set ups that make purchasing everything u need easy.

Fantastic company been buying inverts for a few years now from the spider shop nothing is to much trouble all inverts have been healthy and doing really well I would throughly recommend this company the staff are amazing particularly Sam who I have mainly dealt with over the years thank you all for your fantastic service you all do.

I have had two orders from the spider shop up to now, I am blown away with the service that I have received. This is a company that puts a lot of thought and care into the transport of their live stock. My spiders have arrived happy and healthy, well packaged and Inc a heat pack in winter months. They are very helpful and on hand to answer all my questions, the website is clear and easy to navigate and they have a wide range of species and equipment. The prices are good and I've never had any issues. I've watched many of their videos and posts on Facebook where I've gained most of my knowledge and confidence. I've just unboxed three new slings this morning and couldn't be happier.

I recently bought my first tarantula from here and I have nothing but good things to say! I ordered the wrong enclosure at first and they quickly changed it for me after i asked. The shipping was great and very clear. The tarantula and enclosure were both packed very well. I am absolutley in love with my new tarantula 😍 i defintley have a new obsession! i will be for sure ordering from here alot more in the near future. Thank you very much 😀
