I recently purchased a Samsung tab 7 lite from The Source in North Hills mall of Kamloops, Of course I ordered the extra protection warranty. it fell, screen broke, I called in immediately, to be told to bring it in next morning.
So after some confusion got sorted out,
Fahad, Piyulsh, and Connor and thier management team, did an amazing job of sorting everything out.

I purchased a wireless earphones with warranty and was informed I could have them replaced for the first year in the store. The receipt indicated that it only allowed for 2 replacements which was not mentioned to me.
They failed and I went to replace them where I purchased them and they did not have any in stock and told me to go to another store a long distance away and would not offer me any other option.
I was in the area of another store and dropped in and they told me I would have to mail the product into the company's manufacturer myself and that since I purchased it at another store this was my only option.
In both case the sales representatives were rude and not the least understanding.
I do not recommend the Source base on tis.

I placed an order on their website. Only got one email saying they’ll let me know once it’s shipped. Then 3 days later I saw my account was charged but there were wasn’t an email about the shipping confirmation. I called customer service and Megan on the phone just told me, she has no information and it will “probably” ship tomorrow. No response on why I was charged before shipping..Terribly slow. I will never purchase from here again.

The only source for hours around shut down the day after my package arrived there. They called to get a solution we figured out it would be shipped to me. I would get a email with tracking info. Then the problems started I did not get any email. So I tried again. she would call me back. No call. ( i was waiting at least a week for contact) so i tried online. i would be called. No Call. So i called again. I am at 30 days by now. She will contact me... I am pessimistic... so I call back the next day.I get a Jerk... the first one. I am done and want my money back. He says I need to wait until they find my package. I had to demand a manager 3 times and he called one. I refused 3 times for them to call me back. I was never allowed to talk to a manager ( I wanted to officially complain). Magically I can now get my money back.

Myliek at The Source was so great! I was shopping for an iPad for my daughter and was looking to switch Internet providers. He helped me with booking my appointment and with choosing the right iPad. The one I wanted was not in stock, so Myliek was gracious enough to drive to the other location to get the iPad for me. Customer service could care less about the after sale, once they have your money, your like dirt to them. Don’t buy they extended care it’s just another money grab they won’t replace anything, the guy basically said the speaker that I purchased extended care on, would be sent off for a month and they probably won’t fix it. Then the goes on to tell me that they don’t cover broken/ water damage/battery wear or speaker wear….. sooo what do you cover. And I don’t care about your silly little insincere apology some bot writes after I post this!

I went to The Source for a package of AA batteries. I was forced to wait in line forever behind two people who were buying cell phones until finally an associate noticed me and took me to a side till. While completing the transaction, the lady kept trying to upsell me on stuff. First I had to give my email address in order to buy anything. Then she tried to get me to buy a new cell phone. When I declined, she started trying to get me to switch my phone service to Bell and wouldn't let up. I understand that staff are forced to upsell but I felt so harassed that I've decided not to shop at The Source ever again.

Highly recommend NEVER purchasing any type of listening devices from The Source. I've never dealt with such a poor exchange policy. I purchased Air Pods less than two weeks ago and since the first day they've had issues with cutting in and out. I can't have my phone more than a foot away from the pods before the music cuts in and out. I replaced my old phone thinking that was the issue, and it was not. It happens with both my personal phone (iPhone 12 Pro) and my work phone (iPhone XR). I went to the store to exchange for a new pair and the sales associate said "I explained this to you when you purchased them. Once they've been opened we do not take them back". First off, this was not explained clearly, if at all. Secondly, HOW would I know there was something wrong before they were opened? I understand that this is written in their exchange policy when reading it online, but I do not know a single person who reads a policy prior to purchasing an item. If I had understood this from the beginning I would have just bought them from Walmart, because they actually have a reasonable exchange policy on headphones and will take them back if there's even the smallest issue (like if they don't fit properly). If another big box company can take these on exchange, then The Source ALSO has the power to make their policy more customer-centric. The Sales Associate is just doing her job and following the policy, but The Source 100% needs to update this policy. I will not be shopping here for anything in the future just based on the fact in order to be confident in their customer service, I'd have to read each item's exchange policy prior to purchasing it.
Worst delivery system, not received on the 03/03 when supposed to be in store on 02/24. Confirm for 03/07 week... what a crappy system. And I can get a credit only after delivery in store completed !!! Never again !
The customer service agents are blunt.
They do not show empathy towards issues faced by customer. They give in complete text book responses. Tried explaining the issue but they do not really care. Had issues soon after I bought the product, but as their "refund period" of 30 days is over, my product is not eligible for refund.
Their prices might be good, but their after sale service is terrible. Would not recommend this to anyone
Rather pay slightly higher and have peace of mind on service.
I shopped at the Bower Mall, Red Deer, location today and had amazing service from NICOLE. I had wanted to use a gift card for an on-line purchase and she said she could find it in the store for me and she did within minutes. It was no longer on sale but she found a way to get me 10% off by asking me a number of questions. Eventually, we discovered I had an AMA membership and that did it! She was kind, cordial and efficient. I would gladly go back again (and hope Nicole will be working that day)! :)

I visited the source store in Jackson Square in Hamilton this morning, Feb 1 2022. A very nice young man, Shaq, waited on me, and he could not have been more helpful. He was friendly, polite, and very patient. I will continue to visit this store for any and all electronics.
Bought an Xbox online from the Source for Christmas that came with 2 controllers. One was defective. The Microsoft website said to bring it back to the source store closest to me to replace it. The staff said that I would need to return my whole Xbox for one defective controller. When I told them that was ridiculous, they said “it’s out of our control”. Will never go to the Source stores again, I will order/return/replace items directly with Microsoft online. Brick and mortar is dead. 💀
I purchased a brand new tv and 15 days later was having 2 major issues with it. Came in and they basically deemed me a liar and refused to help me in any way because I did not have the box! Perhaps when you buy the tv, they could mention to keep the box and how long should a person with no storage space do that? One year! Rediculous that they could have cared less about my problem The Manager "Jenn" at Eastgate Mall in Hamilton stood silent while she sicked her arrogant co-worker on me - no help at all! I will never again shop at this location or any other. No customer service and certainly not there to help you!! I have filed a complaint with the Source but I highly doubt anyone will help me. Now I have a brand new broken tv! Rediculous, did not even hit the 30 day warranty. Do not shop at this retailer.
At this day and age, a retailer that sells electronics couldn't even get a delivery to arrive withing a week. Won't be shopping here ever again.
I ordered an item Nov 13th to be shipped in store. Was never emailed confirmation or given any details. Upon calling twice at customer service they said it will take time. Called again today and this guy named Richard disconnected the call 4 times( SOB). Called again and another guy told me it was shipped at the store. When caller store they told me the package gave a long time ago with no name no label, nothing. It was my first time ordering online. I would never recommend anyone. My blood is boiling right now. That guy Richard is lucky he was on the phone and not at the store. I swear. Nonsense people have no sense of customer service. Horrible ppl
Taio in nelson helped me set up headphones for a friend. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful.
I will use the source rather than going online. It is so nice to have a person help you and it was easy and fast. My friend with hearing problems can now watch his tv again and is super happy.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Impossible to receive any support from customer service chat and when calling the store, getting an attitude from the seller because I asked for the military discount and being told to not ask for it and simply buy the item since the military discount can't be applied to all items in store and the source don't have a list of items that have the military discount. That the source doesn't want their customers to ask for discount and just buy a product if I want it. A real shame to treat customers this way. I will definitely buy the watch somewhere else, no regards to if it's on sale or no.
Received an e-mail to pick up a TV. After visiting the store they informed me they have not yet received the tv. I called customer service. Both agents Martha nad Jacky were rude and refused to transfer the call to a supervisor. the worst customer service I have ever experienced
