I brought a budget mattress for our guest room, the guest could feel every spring and every time they moved they thought they was going to fall off it so after an hour had to sleep on the sofa.

I have contacted yourselves to be told two different things…the first person said I could return it but at my own cost and they would send a label which I thought was terrible as it’s the quality of the mattress as to why we are sending it back…then this morning I received an email to say because it’s been slept on for AN HOUR I cannot return this for health and safety reasons…well you shouldn’t be able to sell a mattress like this for health and safety reasons.

I will be taking the matter further,,terrible customer service and an awful mattress I am now stuck with.

Ordered 2 Mattresses through Wowcher, then read reviews, tbh I was panicking I'd made a massive mistake....anyway both Mattresses arrived within a week, both in perfect condition.

Orderd a mattress via the range website. Mattress looks like it's past its used by date and ready to be replaced. There is no support to the mattress. You literally roll off the edges. Tried returning via the range who said I need to contact the Sleep People direct but their email address is invalid. Brand new mattress not fit for purpose. Once I was able to speak to someone at the sleep people, a refund was arranged

We had a problem with one of the mattresses we ordered. Good mattress but the wrong size was sent. Made contact and spoke to Megan Norberry, Megan was totally superb in her dealing with the matter. It was resolved with a couple of Phone calls and a couple of E-Mails. Megan was absolutely first class in every way, polite resourceful and a great sense of humour throughout. Thank Megan you are a great ambassador for your company. Should we need further furniture we will most deffinately use your company again. Gave the rating as Five Stars..... should be TEN for me once again many thanks Megan.

Purchased a mattress via b&q. I have confirmed it is the same company. But this mattress has an awful mould/toxic smell to it now I’ve tried everything and thought it was just me till I saw a review saying the exact same thing! Very disappointing!

Martha from The sleep people was so kind and helpful. Took 3 minutes to solve the problem of the matress being to big. They even donated the mattress to charity. A very kind caring person and company. Highly recommend them.

Ordered mattress from Debenhams, at least I thought I had. They took the money and first thing I received a message from D.B.Z saying it was due to arrive the following Wednesday but alarms were starting to go off as it mentioned a company called The Sleep people.
I waited to hear from Yodel, yes that company that fills you with dread as to exactly when it would be delivered.And waited. The scheduled day arrived and checking Yodels webpage it appears they havn't even picked it up yet.
So it starts, Debenhams have no customer service telephone number, no email and the options of contacting them via social media simply do not work.
So I turned my attentions to Yodel who said they had not had instructions to pick the item up although a number had been allocated to the job. When pressed they said the order was generated by a company called Starlight beds.
Starlight beds in the form of ..... finally answered after I had been placed on hold and then cut off several times. ..... was happy to check on what had gone wrong and immediately threw the blame firmly at Yodel losing the package. When I said that was a lie because Yodel had already told me they were still waiting for instructions to collect, she then said she could reorder or refund the money reorder would mean further delay so I opted for a refund, will I get it? and who is doing the reimbursement as I still think I ordered from Debenhams, Didn't I.
Time will tell but I suggest you stay away from any of the companies involved in this debacle of a sale.

I booked a return of item as it was a repeated item. The lady on customer service was really humble and nice . She booked a collection for me in a minute without asking any questions

As my motorhome (Ruby) is just coming up to twenty years old this year, with all her original upholstery, the cushions are rather hard for sleeping on. Much as I love her, the foam clearly has seen better times and I have often ended up getting up in the mornings with a stiff back.

So as I saw an offer of a mattress topper being sold by The Range, I bought one. Unfortunately it turned out to be too large because I still have trouble with metric measurements (my excuse is that I am nearly eighty & was brought up with imperial). The Range told me I would have to deal direct with the manufacturer, The Sleep People, so that is what I did.

When I contacted them, the initial reaction was that it would not be possible to get a replacement topper made smaller since the one I had bought was a standard size. However after discussion with one of the staff, Megan Norbury, she said that their sister company might just be able to accommodate me & she would enquire & get some prices for me.

When Megan got back to me, she had been successful and for an additional cost, they could make me a custom topper. To save further outlay on couriers and because I was going away anyway, I went up to Ossett to fetch the new topper – it fitted the single sofa perfectly and I am delighted with it. Not only have I had five successive nights’ sleep (successful) with no back trouble in the mornings, I am delighted not only with that, but the service I received.

I ordered the wrong size mattress and contacted the company to arrange return and refund. I spoke to Martha who was very helpful, very quick to respond and and answered all my messages promptly! I was very impressed. Everything was sorted out for me with no delay.

Efficient service, my mattress arrived quickly. Really great customer service by Martha after I realised I had ordered the wrong size mattress - she quickly arranged a refund for me.

After making a mistake with an order through Debenhams, I emailed this company and was helped by Martha. She was extremely helpful in sorting out a courier to collect the order swiftly and processing the refund. I could not recommend the customer service from this company enough

Great resolution to an issue by Martha who was helpful friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend this company and buy from them again.

Finally had my delivery the worst serine ever had and customer service is wast of time I recommend every keeps clear of this company they quick taking your money but take weeks to deliver after telling you within 4 days I took day off work jest to make sure we received it this time and b&q should be a shamed off have they company linked to them

Everyone be careful before buying a mattress from bed people mattress is impossible to sleep on my grandson is sleeping on the floor they will not help saying all mattress make loud noises I am a pensioner who can’t afford to waste money

I ordered a mattress topper for delivery by a specific date and after speaking with Martha my order was delivered on time which enabled my dad to be discharged from hospital. I was very happy with the service I received.

Thank you so much Martha in Customer Service for helping me with my order which I placed over the Easter holiday. I called regarding the delivery of my two single mattresses, 8 inch orthopaedic/memory foam. Martha kindly called the factory for an update and had my delivery out for delivery the next day. Martha also assured me if I had any further enquiries that she was happy to answer them. Will definitely order quality products from yourselves again.
