Excellent company and top quality products. I purchased radiator valves from them before and had a problem with one of the valves after they had been in use for a considerable time, the company arranged for a replacement part to be ordered from Italy, this was sent to me free of charge. Absolutely brilliant service. The staff were a pleasure to deal with.

Gorgeous custom made radiator
Gorgeous custom made radiator delivered in a shorter time frame than expected. I love that we were able to get the colour and size that suited us. Dropped a star because the instructions were, in places, not relevant to the radiator purchased and they caused me hours of confusion prior to fitting. Dropped
further star because the pictures on the website don't show you how obtrusive the wall fixings are when the radiator is hung- in fact the pictures dont show the wall fixings at all. The visible plastic caps covering the screws look tacky, which is disappointing when the radiator cost thousands.

Dear Alice, many thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback, we are sorry that you have had a less than perfect experience with your order but are pleased that the radiator looks so good. As we manufacture thousands of Ancona radiators each year across Europe, and our instructions have to cover the 5 options that are possible to fit the Ancona range, it is logistically difficult to provide fittings for each fitting permutation, however if you can let us have any specific points, we would be happy to review them so we can amend the instructions to address possible issues for future customers.
Likewise, we will look to add images of the brackets and their positions onto the website. In most cases the brackets are fairly well hidden, however as they are our slimmest option on two column radiators the brackets may be more noticeable. If you can send us a few pictures of your radiator and the bracket positions that would help us brief our photographer on the angles, we need to show the fittings in a clearer way.
Unfortunately, the plastic caps on the brackets cannot be painted to match your brackets/radiator as they cannot go through the ovens used to cure the powder coat finish, if you wish we can see if there is a suitable touch up paint we can send to you to help cover either the cap or the screw head.
Once again, we are sorry that you had difficulty with the fittings and are not entirely happy, we hope that we can address your comments satisfactorily, please contact our Customer Service team who will be happy to assist if you wish.

Customer experience
We bought some radiators from TRC through The Radiator Centre. A delivery date was agreed only the radiators never arrived on the due date merely 3 days later unannounced. Given that plumbers were booked on the strength of an agreed delivery date the delayed delivery created an unwarranted cost and inconvenience. Delivery of some of the parts was also made separately for some reason and overall we were missing one bracket. To make matters worse, TRC had to be pushed by the Radiator Centre for a response to the complaint which when it came amounted to the fact that they were sorry. Readers of the review can form their own judgement as to whether this level of customer response is something they consider sufficient.
As to the radiators themselves, it is too early to say. We can say that we still like the look of what we first saw in the showroom except for the side plates which look cheap and tacky in comparison with the radiators themselves and which we have therefore opted not to use.

Let me correct two of your points.
Firstly, the idea that we would comment on the tackiness of the side plates without trying them first is rather crass and a cheap jibe. Of course we tried them first, otherwise I would not have left the comment. We will however return them for a refund as you suggest.
Secondly, we only put in one order for the radiators, although I have no idea how this was communicated to you by your retailer. What I can say is that there was no consistency in the numbers of the various parts that were included in the separate delivery, from memory one set of end plates but several sets of brackets. Moreover, as you will know, we were still one bracket short after all of that. This would rather seem to support the alternative explanation given to me by the retailer at the time that it is quite common for not all the relevant parts to be delivered in what should be a single delivery due to packing failures at your company. They of course will know better than me as I have only the one poor experience from which to draw conclusions.

Dear Mr Rubner, We regret that you had a such a negative experience purchasing through the Radiator Centre, we record all calls and have reviewed those made and the order details and can see that a number of calls were had between yourself and our Customer Service advisor, we called on the 19th of July 2023 and discussed delivering on the order due date of Friday 21st of July 2023, after some consideration as requested by yourself we booked delivery for Monday 24th July 2023. When you later called to see if we could revert to the Friday (I believe your plumber was now available) we also agreed this. However, having reviewed the paper trail it appears that our advisor did not action the change of date despite agreeing and confirming on the phone. We find this extremely disappointing and will be discussing it with the whole team to prevent repetition in the future. The radiators were therefore delivered after the weekend on the Monday.
With regards to the two separate deliveries, this was a result of the later addition of end panels and extra brackets being ordered that the order was raised separately and they were booked to arrive via overnight courier for the Friday, when the radiators should have been with you.
If you wish to return the side panels (please arrange this via The Radiator Centre) we will provide them with a full refund to pass on to you, however they are designed as decorative items to provide a neat and complete finish to the radiator, as such they are not made from heavy duty material, we would like to think they will look good once fitted, as you have them it would be a shame to not have the full effect, perhaps worth a test on one rad?
We always aim to provide excellent service levels to all our customers, unfortunately when delivering hundreds of orders a week occasional issues arrive through human error, I would hope that you can see that our other reviewers have had a different experience and we are disappointed that you did not receive our usual standard of service.
