Avoid. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Incorrectly insured us for years. The policy wasn't comprehensive, as they explained. Insured us as a LTD company when we were sole trader.
Absolutely useless.

They wanted nothing but to avoid the issues we had raised. Tried to get us to pay for their admin fee upon cancellation, despite the fact they had incorrectly insured us. Obviously, we walked away. They tried to make arrangements to collect our money via debt collectors. Paid the fee for the insurance period we had endured - despite not being insured as the correct legal entity - and then left. This was around January 2019.

Go elsewhere. Don't waste your time and money with The Policy Shop.

This company cancelled my car insurance despite receiving my requested documents, they claimed they had sent recorded delivery letters but did not and then made a deduction of £248 for administration !! I have submitted a formal complaint to the Finanicial Services Ombudsman. The low policy price is not worth the hassle.

Received a quote from this 'business' and then had the quote raised by more than 10% on the same day. Thepolicyshop is just trying to waste your time and steal your money.

DO NOT get involved with this company - they have a clear policy - quote the lowest price to draw you in the then once you've paid, they charge you to add spurious clauses and if you want to leave they charge you again. I took out a home insurance policy - they wrote to me, just after I had paid and said I had 'failed to declare' a telephone enquiry in 2013 (this didn't even result in a claim - I just wanted to know if some weather damage was covered), which added £4.22 to the cost of the policy and then their £50 'admin charge' - the policy hasn't even started yet. oh - if I want to cancel it and leave, it's £45 'admin fee'..........apparently, this is a 'reasonable charge' if you cancel during the 14 day 'cooling off' period. Bear this in mind if you are considering them...
