Parking Restrictions VERY expensive
I dropped my sister in law off and asked at the front desk if I was OK to park while I helped her with her bags - there's no lift - and grabbed a cup of coffee. I was told no problem. I then received a parking ticket for £100. I appealed siting I was given permission to park by the hotel and was told "it's not the responsibility of the hotel staff to explain parking restrictions." I appealed directly to the hotel and was told they do not take responsibility for the parking even though it is directly outside their hotel and gave me permission. The lack of support coupled with a lack of hot water in my sister in law's "Superior" Room, no lift, and no one to help with her bags was very disappointing.
