The Chocolate Smiths have completely changed what I expect from a chocolate bar! There’s always something a bit unexpected about their flavours, but somehow they just work. You can tell a lot of thought goes into each combination, and the chocolate itself tastes fantastic.
I also love the personality behind the brand. From the moment the parcel arrives, it feels fun and different — definitely not your standard chocolate experience.
I’ve contacted the team before and found them lovely to deal with, which makes supporting the business even easier.
For me, this is chocolate with character — creative, delicious and memorable. Definitely a favourite!

Great chocolate not worth the price imo
The chocolate was good and the flavour combinations are clever and unique. I just don’t think it’s worth the money. I wouldn’t buy it again. But it was tasty. Definitely delicious. You’re paying for the hand made element. But there are a lot of crazy and more affordable bars made by Cadbury or kitkat etc.

We completely appreciate that, at £9–£20, our bars are considerably more expensive than mass-produced confectionery and won’t suit every budget. There is, however, quite a lot more behind our pricing than simply the fact that our bars are handmade.
We use Luker Chocolate, and through them we’re incredibly proud to support independent cocoa-growing communities in Colombia. Members of our team have actually travelled to Colombia, visited the farms and met some of the growers behind the cocoa we use. Our choice of chocolate also helps support community projects and children’s education within those cocoa-growing regions – something that is hugely important to us. 💛
We also choose quality ingredients, our chocolate contains no palm oil, and every one of our bars is individually made in small batches by our team here in the North East.
We know that makes us very different in price from the mass-produced bars you’ll find in supermarkets, and we completely understand that our chocolate won’t be an everyday purchase for everyone. We’re delighted, though, that you found it delicious and appreciated the creativity behind our flavours. Thank you for giving us a try. 😊

Always had great customer experience…
Always had great customer experience and chocolate from these guys. Worth signing up to the newsletter to get the heads up on drops as they sell out fast! It also gives you some behind the scenes and extra info on what's happening. This is good ethically sourced chocolate...none of this palm oil nonsense you see a lot of nowadays so it's definitely worth spending more on it...and they won't ship chocolates during extreme weather so it doesn't end up melted/damaged...plus the packaging is awesome and adds an extra layer of fun and whimsy.

The best chocolate I have tasted
I was expecting a luxury chocolate bar, that is exactly what I got! You can taste the love and quality that goes into these bars. I was sceptical as it was my first order and £20 per bar is at the luxury end of the market, but the collaboration between the blondies, the gorgeous caramel and quite possibly the best chocolate I have ever tasted, every bite made it worth while.

Realy tasty chocolate
Realy tasty chocolate, fast delivery.
Only pain point is that you have to be quick to order on their restock days.
Some of the best choclate that is a real challenge to not finish off.
Aaaand their easter eggs, expensive but blimey they are thick choclate with a thick filling in the walls. Genuinly crack it open the only disappointment is from your dentist.

Id heard Amazing things about this…
Id heard Amazing things about this company. And it took quite some time, to secure an order, as it was constantly sold old. When i eventually placed my order, it did arrive within a few days, which was very good. As we were having a heatwave, at the time, and orders were being delayed. Lovely packaging, but extremely disappointed, with the actual flavouring. The actual chocolate tasted very nice, but the Pistachio filling, was very thin. And there was only a slight taste, and it smelt of Mint. The other bar, was Pastel de Nata, the Portugese tart flavour. Unfortunately, the same disappointment, again. The filling tasted, exactly the same as a Cadburys Caramel bar. And also very thinly spread. The actual chocolate, is fine, its the filling & flavour, or rather, lack off. I paid £28 for 2 chocolate bars, which to be honest. I consider to be extremely expensive, for what they are
