I could not recommend the The Boot enough.

We had my sister’s surprise 40th birthday here, with lots of family and friends - it was perfect for everyone (of every age).

The atmosphere is instantly welcoming. The environment beautiful. The food was delicious. The staff were incredible - friendly, attentive. Impossible to fault anything.

We had everything we needed (and more) in the marquee, helping minimise the stress of planning and preparing for the big day.

Not only was it perfect for grown ups to enjoy themselves, the large garden area and children’s play areas meant it catered to everyone - especially those with young children.

Having the fun fair on the Green opposite was just the icing on the cake (no pun intended - and even if I learned the hard way that dodgems are no place for 36 year olds!!).

As I say, 100% recommend The Boot. I absolutely plan to visit again in the future.

Ok, I am not a professional moaner…we thought we would give The Boot at Sarratt another chance, so went there yesterday (Sunday). Booked in for 2.15 and didn’t sit down until 2.35, and it took a while for order to be taken. I had the Roast beef and I stated I wanted more than just two roast potatoes, (which is what you get apparently) the waitress said “do you want extra then” and I said yes if I have to pay for them! 🤔 ok the potatoes were great but I had to ask for more gravy 🙄
The beef wasn’t very good at all, some was “ok” but other parts were pink/red and tough and rough. The generic veg was so,so but the Yorkshire pudding was fine. So yet another disappointing dining experience!
Surely Roast Beef is the flagship of Sunday dinner and needs to be more or less perfect? I give up.

I organised a Christmas Lunch for a party of 20.
The food was absolutely perfect. Very hot and tasty.
And the sweets were gorgeous. I can definitely recommend the Prosecco cheesecake.
And as always the staff were very attentive ….So thank you so much Zoe and your staff.
