The egg noodles were crunchy, but the dish felt a bit heavy and the flavors did not stand out. Not my favorite.
Menu varié et savoureux, personnel symaptique. j'ai aimé l'expérience
Stopped in for lunch on a long weekend Sunday. No one else was in line, and the gentleman at the counter was friendly enough. I ordered the General ThaiRacha, which was prepared in record time, almost too fast.
At first glance, the portion looked decent. But once I started eating, it was clear something was off. The chicken tasted stale, like it had been sitting around for days, with dense, dry batter and very little actual meat. Given how quickly it was cooked, that sadly made sense.
To make matters worse, I found a hair in the dish that looked suspiciously similar to the man’s beard.
Hair aside, the $18.91 price tag for what felt like reheated leftovers doesn’t sit right. It seems corners are being cut to live up to the “Express” name, prioritizing speed and profit over freshness and quality.
I won’t be returning to this location. If I decide to give Thai Express another try, it’ll be at the Halifax Shopping Centre, where the team actually cooks meals fresh in front of customers instead of rushing them out.
First time ever at a Thai Express (Bayview Village) ...Thursday Oct.9 (4:30)...Went in with my wife for take-out dinner...Ordered Pad Thai Vegetable and Pad Tai Tofu.... Terrible,,,Barely any vegetables or Tofu. The noodles were tasteless spaghetti type, not normal Thai broad noodles...Never again.
The Calgary Shawnessy location… I ordered 3 meals with extra sauce, they charged me nearly $2 extra a meal and there wasn’t any extra sauce, so dry. So don’t waste your money paying for things you won’t get.
Thai Express food is the worst i have ever had at UNION STATION. I ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp - shrimp was not cooked, Pad thai was flavourless and dry with bean sprouts which tasted nasty. Just so you know, The Pad Thai on the pictures appeared to have green veges. Their picture menus are misleading. The staff were awful and didn’t care. I will never go to this place again. Thai Express should be shut down.
their staff have the worst attitude at lakeside thurrock foodcourt.
I absolutely love dining at Thaï Express! The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. The food is consistently delicious, with General thairacha that keep me coming back. Whether it’s for a casual meal or a special occasion, Thaï Express never disappoints. Highly recommended!
Their app is the worst app ever created.
Pad thai was terrible. Too sweet. Even the staff admitted not liking it.
Had lunch today at amk hub today with 2 of my friends. I ordered tom yum hor fun n lemongrass drink. After 2 mouthfuls, I found that almost every single green vege found in my dish was rotten n some were yellow. Even the stalks in of the green vege were limb & the sides of the stalks were brown. The vege was clearly unfit to be eaten & I doubt it was washed as well. I then sent the dish back n declined for an exchange as I already ate some of the vege & it spoiled my appetite. After that my friend also stopped eating her basil chicken rice halfway. During payment, initially my dish & drink wasn't deducted & I told the cashier I wasn't going to pay for my food & drink as I will be having my lunch elsewhere. Then he agreed & payment for my food & drink was deducted from the total food. It really ruined my experience. Really shocked that the whole lot of vege is dirty &
The spicy tofu soup was great and the Montpellier water was great to drink as well.
Shoutout to Ishan. I don't know what he put in my food but it's delicious. That Pad See Ew will not make you say ew, it's chef's kiss. Great customer service
Edinburgh St James: Not Thai at all. No flavour on the Beef massaman. Not much flavour to the Bankok noodles. We completely left the bland noodle soup. The somtam wasn't Somtam it was a lettuce salad. The beef was tough in all dishes, certainly not a premium taste and absolutely not Thai. Don't bother it's well overpriced and not Thai
Favorite meal is the pad sew. I love it extra spicy. Great place to dine or order from. Gets pricy when you add stuff but it’s worth it. The chicken wings are good as well. Well great menu overall.
Not good food, nor a good representation of Thai food.
I have tried various locations thinking that it was just me but I have come to realize their food is unfortunately not good
Their noodles always appear to be overcooked and the sauce they use are not tasty.
I recently visited thailand and would suggest do not base thai express as an alternative. Best bet is to go to an actual thai restaurant. I don't recommend this place at all. Affordable and great pricing but the food is not good at all.
Great food most times. Great place to eat if you don't know what you want to eat.
