Loved the Strength Glutes & Legs class at Tempo 301 in Elephant & Castle. It was challenging without being too much, and the trainer was great at helping with technique and adjusting things when needed. Definitely felt it in my legs the next day! Will be back.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Tempo 301, going twice a week, but their complete lack of empathy has left me furious. I had a PT pregnancy session booked, but I suddenly fell ill and needed to reschedule. Despite this being a one-time issue, they refused to be flexible or show even the slightest bit of understanding. They’re more than happy to take £80 per class, but when it comes to treating customers like actual people, they fail miserably. This place is nothing but a money machine, and they clearly don’t care about their clients at all.

At Hackney studio instructor Amanda is amazing, great class and machines are of high quality but their receptionist Katie is extremely unprofessional and haven't got enough knowledge to deal with her work. She doesn't know how to talk to clients and sort out issues. We booked a class for today and after booking it we were told that there's no more spaces so the booking didn't go through but the money were taken. We asked for it to be refunded due to their mistake and the receptionist said that they can't refund and can only give a credit to be used for another session. That wasn't good enough as the person was only booking the session in order to join us and didn't need it for another time. Disgusting receptionist service. I think this place should seriously concentrate on their receptionist as this is causing them loosing clients. Will not go there again even though the Instructor was great. Showers weren't very nice and clean as well.

Regular classes for the last 2 years:

+ some trainers are awesome, varied exercises, body feels great, nice atmosphere
- books up way in advance (doesn’t seem right my packages expire because there is no space), the website is an absolute nightmare to book on

Depending on time and work, I now more or less attend 1 to 3 weekly classes.

Great HIIT class with Ola at the Elephant studio - good mix of cardio/strength exercises, well explained and totally exhausting. Lovely studio, nice changing rooms and lots of great equipment.

I visited Tempo Pilates whilst in London on business. The instructors are friendly and enthusiastic, and they will put you through your paces in the workout! Overall, I found the instruction to be high-quality and the classes to be nice and challenging. I recommend.

I went for a taster class here just under 8 years ago and was instantly hooked and have been going 1-2 times a week ever since. If anything its got better in recent years, there are now 3 levels of class and the level 3 classes are harder than anything else I've found out there (and I've tried quite a few other studios).

Staff inevitably move on eventually in a city like London but tempo manage to hire and mould amazing trainers. To be consistently great for eight years is incredible.
