We had a 2-hour coaching session with Tom for our 12-year-old son, and it was excellent. Tom was fantastic with him throughout the session. He made safety a priority, was really encouraging, and adapted his coaching to suit our son’s ability. Our son absolutely loved it and came away feeling much more confident.

Tom also gave us clear guidance on what to work on next, particularly cornering, and told us about the open riding sessions at The Summit, which sound like a great opportunity to put those skills into practice.

The only observation I’d make is that, for our son, two hours was quite intense and he was pretty tired by the end. That certainly wasn’t down to Tom—he was very responsive and would happily have let him take a break if needed. Looking back, I think an hour of coaching followed by an hour to independently practise and consolidate the skills he’d just learnt might work really well for children of a similar age.

Overall, we’d highly recommend Tom. He’s knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and brilliant at building both skills and confidence.

First time to Swinley Forrest - loved it!

A beautiful setting and a proper work out riding around the trails. I hadn't appreciated how physical it would be but it was great.

We booked two session back to back at Swinley Summit last Friday! The boys loved every second on the trails and jumps. Fantastic music from the DJ, incredible mac and cheese from the food trailer to refuel, and an all-around top-tier vibe. We’ll definitely be back for more!

This was mine and my daughters first coaching session with Swinley Bike Hub and they were so helpful to ensure we had the right coach before booking. We had the absolute best session with Brendan, we both felt so comfortable and learnt how to feel more comfortable on our bikes and the trails. We both left with big smiles and keen to get straight back into the forest!

Amazing session at the Summit yesterday… despite the rest of the country sweltering … under the canopy of the trees the temperature was perfect for some gentle encouragement and tips from my favourite coach… making the next feature feel accessible and helping me stay active.

The park was not very well maintained and a almost outsider feeling as you got there as every who knew each other was not social at all

Very easy to book with excellent e-bikes for hire. Great service on arrival with clear instructions and very helpful guidance. Swinley Forest is a delight to cycle around with a wide choice of routes, surfaces and challenges. Highly recommended.

I am a experienced red-runner. As a heavier rider, I struggle with jumps. First time visit to The Summit, which is an excellent skills area. Mary Ann deconstructed some of my body position and a lot of breaking it down and slowing me down. I managed to properly attain tabletop pop!

The variety of trails, jumps, and drops is fantastic for ALL levels of experience and ability.

The highly professional and experienced coaches (Brendan, Aidan and Simon this Sunday) were on hand to help improve technique, mindset, mechanical issues, and generally to encourage (or moderate if/where required) your riding and set realistic challenges.

10/10, would highly recommend a visit.

Brilliant experience, knowledgeable staff and quickly change my bike out when it was found to have a very slight issue.

Went through the controls and was quick with the hire.

We had bike hire for my son. The bike he loved. The trails were brilliant. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were good. The place itself is amazing. The scenery and walk around is so lovely and tranquil. Will be visiting on a regular basis. Would highly recommend.

My son learnt a lot. I could see a clear difference in his confidence at the end of the session.
