Very good after sale service !

I ordered stuff from this organisation but never received it. Despite chasing up on 3 occasions by email and attempting to call them on the phone (does not connect) I had no response but luckily I paid by paypal so was able to recoup my money (thanks paypal)

So many posts about Surplus and Adventure and their poor customer service. The General consensus on most forums is that Surplus and Adventure (Worcester) and their online offering is untrustworthy at best. Having experienced this first hand, I will not buy online from Surplus and adventure again.

In spite of assurances to the contrary no order was processed (as the goods were not in stock) and no refund was ever sent. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR GOODS WITHIN 7 DAYS THEN YOU SHOULD REQUEST A CHARGE BACK FROM YOUR BANK OR CREDIT CARD PROVIDER as a time limit exists on these transactions.

It's not just the poor customer service, it's the lies and the deceit that accompany it.

I used this company twice but will not make the same mistake a third time. The first experience with them I ordered quite a few items which turned up about two weeks later, well, some of it did. There was a yellow note inside the box saying further items to follow. Another two weeks and the rest turned up. I wasn't too impressed but as they have some good stuff on their site I decided to give them a second chance. Again I ordered a number of items and again they turned up 2 weeks later apart from one of the items. Again a note saying missing item to follow. A couple more weeks went by with no word or sign of anything turning up. I phoned on a number of occasions before somebody actually answered the phone. They said the item would be coming in within the next couple of days as it was out of stock and I would have it by the end of the week. Another couple of weeks later, nothing. Phoned again, same story. Another couple of weeks, nothing. This went on for a few months and it looked like they wern't going to get it in stock dispite still advertising it on their site. This was over 18 months ago now. Still advertising the item, still not got it! I would also like to point out that each time I phoned the staff seemed to get ruder and ruder each time as though I was wasting their precious time and was made to feel as though I was an irritation for bothering them for such an inexpensive item. Eventually I asked for a refund and was told that wouldn't be possible due to the order being made more than 3 months ago. Instead I was offered a credit note for the cost of the item. The cheeky b*****ds! Shame really because they do have some cool stuff on their site, however I shall take my buisness elsewhere in future.
