Pointless reviewing this item as until having been in use for a good time but it's to replace an identical alarm box that has been in constant use for many years and still going strong. Easy to install, set up and use. Only bought the replacement as I erroneously thought the existing one had failed. I'll keep it anyway until needed. The price was very good and delivery exceptional.

There are a couple of things that let this product down. The less important one is the size of the product, the emphasis seems to be to make the box as small as possible causing the installer to cram the cabling into a confined space. this is totally unnecessary, where ever these panels are installed there always going to fit onto a wall with plenty of space so why so small. The second point is the inadequate installation material. Firstly the panel came with no paper instructions only a User Guide. The Installation Guide can only be accessed as a pdf on your website. I do not have a printer so had to continually try to read the guide on a laptop. This took so much longer than being able to flick through a paper copy. The Installation Guide failed immediately with no instructions as to how to take the front panel off. I used to work as a Service Engineer and I know only to well what it's like trying to open this type of plastic panelling when you don't know how it opens. I spent some time trying to prise open the front cover with my fingers without success because I didn't know how it opened. The next step was to try prising it open with a screwdriver. Fortunately the small top panel fell open to reveal 2 screws. Why didn't the clown that wrote the guide start with explaining how to remove the front panel. If I had known this product did not come with a paper Installation Guide I would not have bought it.
