It's the only option really to replace an old Horstman 7 Quartz - really easy to fit and good quality. The only issue for me is that the red light means mains power attached, the green light means the unit is powered on, but there's no might to say the immersion heater is powered on...
Brought this item as an off peak contact controller. A bit of overkill in terms of the product capability but the quality of the item and the user interface made it perfect for the application intended.
A significant improvement on the original Horstmann unit. An app + Bluetooth control provides a lot more flexibility with programming the unit. Very pleased.

Strong enclosure, built to last, quality connection terminals. Given all this I strongly suspect that the switching contacts for the 3Kw load are more than heavy duty enough as it’s backed by a 7- year guarantee. Nice bright clear display too. Seems the perfect answer to the cheap times that fail after 18months!

Better futures than original Horstsmann controller and cost is 50% cheaper.
This modern version of the Hortsmann Economy 7 Quartz is so easy to install using the provided adaptor plate and the original wall mount. It's an excellent upgrade.

Works as intended. Connecting via Bluetooth is a bit slow and WiFi connection requires another £50 item. I personally think a controller like this should cost less, bit it was competitively priced in the market (no real alternatives).
