I know this review is a bit long but feel it is needed to explain.
Absolutely shocking company unprofessional and do not have qualified kitchen fitters to fit kitchens.
My auntie who is 73yrs old had sunshine to fit her kitchen of her dreams was told completion would be a week from start to finish.
1st week didn't go well kitchen fitters ripped out kitchen 1st day then day 2-3they started to fit cupboards but not much progress i asked the fitters what have they been doing as not much progress was made. Day 4 I asked if they could at least put the sink in so my auntie could have some water, they said it wasn't possible and gave her some bottled water and told my 73yr auntie to take all her washing up on to her stair lift and do her dishes upstairs in the bathroom absolutely disgusting.
We were also desperate for them to at least connect the hob so she could do some light meals but was told no.
Day 5 still no progress got even worse they had to remove the cupboards that they had fitted as they were not the right fit.
Day 6 to day 14 day there were so many issues still no running water still no hob.
The fitters were using the wrong cutting tools to fit kitchen cupboards worktops splashbacks nothing looked right. Week 3 I kept telling them that the workmanship was absolutely shocking I made a complaint to sunshine they took the 2 fitters off the job and 2 other fitters came to work on the badly fitted kitchen. Although they tried to put things right over the next few days the kitchen still looked extremely badly fitted.
I told them the kitchen didn't look much better at all. Then another 2 kitchen fitters came out and still it looked awful. Sunshine ruined a perfectly beautiful kitchen.
The fitters left all rumble behind the flints underneath the cupboards inside the cupboards i had to tell them to remove it there were tools all out my auntie hall and couldn't get to her back garden for nearly 2 weeks there extremely messy don't clean up after themselves all worktops left in the hallway to the front of the house my auntie who is on a walking stick or simmer frame found it difficult as they were stacked up layin along the floor. The flooring they only done the middle of the kitchen didn't carry it on underneath cupboards. The flooring they put done in the hallway was absolutely shocking and is still causing issues even today.
I asked for the owners telephone number as myself and my auntie wasn't happy with the work that was carried out after 4 long weeks. I told sunshine my auntie was not going to pay them untill we had spoken to the owner but Nathan was banging on my aunties door for full payment not just once but 3 times i was absolutely furious intimidating a 73yr old pensioner into handing over the money i told sunshine she is not paying and not to bang on her door again as auntie was feeling extremely intimidated.
I told sunshine that we wanted to speak to the owner we would not deal with anyone else. I sent all the photos of poorly fitted kitchen and the flooring to Tim the owner! We then spoke on the phone Tim asked what did we want to do, We were given 3 choices first choice sunshine would rip out the whole kitchen and start again but my auntie had already had enough and didn't want to go through all that again after 4 weeks of hell bearing in mind she is 73yrs old. 2nd choice was pay for the kitchen at a discounted price and if she didn't take that option we were told that sunshine would rip the kitchen out and leave her with nothing.
I said to Tim the owner you can't rip out the kitchen and leave her with nothing and his reply was im not leaving the kitchen if she doesn't pay. Then Tim came out to take a look at the workmanship and he even admitted it was absolutely shocking.
Myself and my auntie explained to Tim that the option of ripping it all out and starting again auntie couldn't go through that again he was quite relieved. So we took the option to pay at discounted price as auntie would have been left with no kitchen.
Looking back we should have gone to trading standards which we are going to go forward with as there are issues with flooring worktops won't be lasting to long as water is going into the worktops .
We did have a kitchen fitter out to see if the appearance of the badly fitted kitchen could be improved but as the wrong cutters had been used there wouldn't be much difference unless we renewed alot of the kitchen. We found that there customer service in the office naming Chris one of them who tried to intimidate us i had to put him in his place he is rude arrogant and unprofessional. Nathan is also intimidating and unprofessional . The 2 young kitchen fitters were not professional kitchen fitters that literally ruined the kitchen were full of excuses for there poor workmanship.
I would never recommend sunshine to install a kitchen for anyone especially if your a pensioner.

Just had our whole house renovated...New windows, doors, bi fold door , conservatory, patio door, sofits and guttering!! 2 teams came in , they were absolutely amazing and made a nightmare of a job feel like a walk in the park ! We can't say enough about how professional they all are !
The end job is absolutely fantastic! Morgan and Caleb's team were brilliant and very motivated! Thank you everyone x

If I could rate this company higher, I probably would! Have had new front windows (3) and new front door fitted today by Nige and Joel.. bang on time, polite, friendly, clean & work non stop. Everything looks amazing, some small snags, that couldn’t be helped with the glass found today have already been put in place to correct. Initially arranged by Sam who came out to do the sales part.. spoke to the company owner also to make arrangements for fitting, they will just go above and beyond with service.
The quality of work is great, I couldn’t be happier with the finished product & couldn’t recommend these guys more to do your work.

Joel & Nigel from Sunshine Home Improvements completed a new porch. Thank you so much Joel & Nigel for doing an excellant & awesome job. They were very professional,polite, hard working, caring & talked me through on what they were doing at each step, cleaned up & everything was left spotless. I love my porch, it has made a big difference & so many comments received from neighbours & friends. I would definitely recommend this firm.

I had a salesman come to our home for a ‘no obligation’ quote on replacing windows and 2 doors. In total there were 13 windows and 2 doors. Prior to them calling I received a ‘discount code’ for working in public services. The salesman arrived and was nice enough, polite and nothing unusual. He then quoted us £33,000. Gobsmacked as didn’t expect that cost. Informed them this was out of budget and they offered a 5 year payment plan of £670 a month. Again, stated not affordable and so they kept knocking the price down. Said with my discount code it brought it to £15k. I was a bit more interested so said I would think about it and get back to them by the end of the day. The salesman told me this was not possible and if he left I’d lose my discount. I was thrown off as thought it was a no obligation quote. Informed again as a couple we needed to think the decision over as the windows weren’t awful just old as we had just bought the property and weren’t desperate. Again, told no. At this point the salesman then started to talk about fitters needing a wage with families to feed and support and our job would help feed the fitters and their family. We ended up agreeing to finance just to get him to leave. He finally left only to return 10 minutes later and caught us talking to a neighbour, said we hadn’t signed it all correctly and he wasn’t leaving until we had.

We cancelled the finance straight after. We are neurodivergent and the experience was a difficult one to manage. Whilst he wasn’t ’intimidating’ as such, he was pushy and persistent that we needed to sign the contract as the company needed the job. A 30 minute no obligation quote for us to think about and would last 12 months, turned into a 3 hour ordeal with a salesman sat at our table telling us fitters needed to support their family and they needed the job.

We recently had all of our new windows and doors fitted by Sunshine, with Selwyn and Reece carrying out the installation, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Our old aluminium windows and doors had been fitted very poorly in the past, so every time the team removed something there seemed to be another unexpected problem waiting underneath. Looking at it myself, I kept thinking, “Oh my goodness, what next?” Yet Selwyn and Reece took every challenge completely in their stride. They handled each issue professionally, confidently and without hesitation, finding solutions quickly and efficiently. Their experience really showed.

The windows and doors themselves are absolutely stunning. What originally started as replacing our back door for security reasons, along with updating the windows because several had blown and were full of condensation, has completely transformed our home. It genuinely feels like a home improvement rather than just a repair, and I have no doubt it has added value to our property.

The installation was carried out quickly, methodically and to a very high standard. They took great pride in their work and even cleaned everything up afterwards, leaving the house spotless. I’d happily have them back again for any future work.

One thing that really stood out to me was how lovely they were with our dogs. One of ours can be a little grumpy with strangers, but they immediately understood how to approach them and were calm, patient and friendly throughout. As a dog owner, that meant a great deal to me.

From start to finish, the entire customer journey with Sunshine has been effortless. The company genuinely has a family-values feel to it. You never feel like just another customer or a sales target. Instead, they keep you informed throughout the whole process and make you feel genuinely valued every step of the way.

A special thank you also goes to Matilda, who visited us at the beginning of the process. She took the time to explain everything clearly, carefully measured up, made sure we fully understood all of our options, and helped us arrange the finance. At no point did we feel pressured into buying anything we didn’t need. Instead of the usual sales pitch you often get from larger companies, she simply gave us honest advice, explained what Sunshine could offer, and made sure we were happy with every decision.

Having never used a window and door company before, I chose Sunshine purely because a family member had recommended them after having their own windows and doors installed. They spoke so highly of both the quality of the products and the people fitting them that I didn’t even bother comparing other companies first—which is very unlike me, as I usually research every option before making a decision!

I’m so glad I trusted that recommendation because Sunshine exceeded every expectation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for new windows and doors, and if I ever need them again in the future, I sincerely hope Sunshine is still there to do the job.

The quality of the windows and bi-folding door are really good. But in particular, Tom and Iestyn who fitted all the windows, front door, back door and bi-folding door were amazing. They worked hard, were efficient, friendly, supportive and just all round great professionals. They represented the company really well.

From start to finish Joel and nigel did a fantastic job of all my windows and door 2 lovely boys nothing to much trouble for them came on time cleaned all mess up even the man that came here to measure windows really lovely sorry I cant remember his name but I would definitely recommend this company to people couldn't fault nothing 13

Mum had the whole upstairs windows done and a change of patio door in living room. What can i say but absolutely love this company. From talking with Adrian and Tim to meeting Amy and Matilda. The fitters Tom and Iystyn sorry if i spelt that wrong. Were amazing. They arrived and from that moment they were so friendly and explained things. Very professional, very polite, cleaned all the mess afterwards. Never stopped for a break was really impressed by both their attitude and work ethic. Looking forward to having the downstairs door and windows done now. Would thoroughly recommend the company and these fitters to everyone.

From ordering our new back door to it being fitted was a really good experience. Biggest thanks to Rhys and Selwyn, who quickly removed the old door and frame, replacing it with a tailored new door,. They were prompt and thorough. Well done!

Absolutely amazing company. Couldn’t fault anything at all. Fitters was excellent cleaned up well after them couldn’t fault them at all. Catrin jones is the most polite person on earth, she always goes up and above to help us out which really makes it easier for us, Catrin your one in a million enjoy your Easter egg in July lol xx

Absolutely terrible service. Started with pushy salesman who tried to arrange fitting over Christmas. Then the actual fitters who trashed the place, damaged walls and squeezed a 4 day job into two days by rushing and working really late (not good when you have 2 small children) so they could have a day off (their words). Then after they left and we tidied up, because they didn't bring any brushes or hoovers. we found a bit of damage to the front door and a window. We tried contacting them about it and after a month or so and multiple calls, someone came out to look at it but nothing else. We rang a few times more and got a lot of excuses and aggro over the phone bringing my partner to tears. COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Had my kitchen worktops & splash back done last week fitted by Jay from Sunshine Home Improvements. Jay was very professional, kind, polite & answered all my questions & put me at ease. Nothing was too much trouble & throughly cleaned up after. Thank you so much Jay. I had a few concerns regarding some electrical, gave me advice. Received a phone call from Tim, who sent an electrician out the same day to check a few sockets out & put my mind at rest as living on my own. Thank you Jordan for checking things out & for putting in a new socket. I would defo recommend this company 100 percent, very professional in every way. Now looking forward to having a new bathroom.

We have had our conservatory replaced and changed into a sun room with a roof, lighting and heating. The fitters that ripped out the old conservatory and fitted the new one were brilliant. The team we had were headed by Morgan and his crew and they were always friendly, courteous and helpful.

This was not a budget job and was more expensive than other quotes we had but the materials and amount of insulation, the workmanship etc were all top notch.

The work is not fully completed yet but when it is I will place another review.

Excellent service by Rhys and selwyn, respected our premises. Worked hard and a friendly team. Would highly recommend these two boys!

The technicians from Sunshine Home Improvements are skilled professionals they installed my new Georgian style triple glazed windows very efficiently and to a very high standard.
The uPVC windows are good quality and I'm impressed with the locking system on each of the opening sashes feel firm and secure when closing which is important to me.
They were friendly and considerate, and
I'm delighted with the results.
The team were very clean and tidy, and meticulous from start to finish
