Storage over the summer period

I stored a few suitcases for the summer. They provided nice plastic label holders and cable ties to make sure the labels didn't come off, and the service was punctual and affordable.

Good service and price!

Happy with the services and would recommend to anyone as prices and exexution was as expected and everything went smooth. Definitely use the services again.

Moved some boxes from Birmingham to…

Moved some boxes from Birmingham to london with out qny problems. Collected Monday and delivered Wednesday. Customer service was quick to respond and very polite:)

Avoid at all cost

The only good thing about this "service" is that we are finally done with it. Not only are they incapable of upholding specific collection and delivery times but their customer service department is rude, abrupt, and offers no assistance whatsoever. I contacted customer service both while packing our boxes, during storage, and during the return of the boxes and every single time I was disappointed with the way they responded. Their service is completely unreliable and I would recommend to avoid them at all cost!

This review is about a storage service comprising of three main elements:

1. You asked us to deliver 10 free standard 55x37x38cm empty boxes and tape on the 10th May. We delivered them on 10th May as requested.

2. You asked us to collect the 10 packed boxes on the 17th May. A Parcelforce driver collected your boxes on 17th May as requested within the 9am to 5pm window we had provided. We’re sorry that the Parcelforce driver arrived approximately one hour later than the time they separately estimated they would, but still within the 9am to 5pm window we had provided you with.

3. You asked us to store your boxes and return them on or around the 22nd September. Your boxes were delivered at 12:56 on the 22nd September. A screenshot of the Parcelforce tracking data for this delivery can be viewed at the following URL:

As advertised to you when you booked your return delivery, 96% of return deliveries happen on the date requested, but this isn’t absolutely guaranteed. Your boxes were attempted for delivery one day early on the 21st September and you weren’t at home to receive them so the driver came back the next day and delivered on the 22nd September as requested.

You emailed us on the 13th May before your storage started saying that the free standard/medium sized 55x37x38cm boxes you had chosen for your service (as opposed to the larger 55x55x38cm we also provide) were too small for some of your items, and asking if you could put these larger inside the old single-walled single-use lightweight cardboard wrapping we shipped the free empty boxes to you in. In our reply we briefly pointed out that this cardboard wrapping is unsuitable for storage and asked you not to use it under any circumstances. We’re sorry you found this reply abrupt/rude, and that we weren’t able to offer any solutions for your larger items, other than using larger boxes for them.

You emailed us at the end of storage on the evening of 21st September complaining that Parcelforce had attempted to deliver your boxes a day earlier than requested, and that Parcelforce had sent you a message to say they would not be delivering on the 22nd. We checked the tracking link from your online booking, and replied to let you know that the boxes were out for delivery on the 22nd as requested and that we thought maybe you had misunderstood the message from Parcelforce about not coming back on the 22nd. We’re sorry you found this reply abrupt/rude.

totally disorganized and never respond

Company never answers the phone. Totally confused communication - the right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. I was sent customs forms to fill in right before shipping, that were the same as forms previously filled out. Result - my shipment was delayed. Parcel Force had a record of part of my shipment being made and someone in Leeds having signed for it (the shipment was to Dublin), at the same to SSB told me to choose a new shipment date and pay the excess storage, at the same time my payment record showed all up to date. I am currently told my shipment would have been made by dhl yesterday or today and that all is in order, but I have also received a notice ‘last notice to pay the excess storage before legal proceedings. Nightmare! In the meantime I’m at Uni and have no boxes and have had to buy new bedding! Feels like perhaps it should be me initiating legal proceedings?
My advice - avoid this company. At this stage I have zero faith in them and they don’t even answer my emails, just send automatic emails demanding payment.

Troublesome and unhelpful

Paid extra to recover my items (after leaving them 3 months in storage) during a narrower time-frame (7am-10am), not only did they not show up even 2 hours after the agreed time and after I had called when no one showed and was told to wait an extra hour and a half AFTER the timeframe I paid for, but after discussing with the transporter, the items were not even dispatched yet. The phoneline remains closed and so the only way to get in touch is through email. Wasted a morning and half a day waiting for something that wasn't even shipped, with of course no heads up or anything of the sort, while having already payed an extra 36£.
