Bought a laptop from this company, but was gifted one from a friend the night I ordered it, so I did not need the laptop I purchased from them afterall. After several attempts to make contact via phone/email, Holly quickly contacted me once she saw my review on here, found my emails in her junkmail, and immediately sorted out the return information. Im blown away, firstly I am very dubious and sceptical when purchasing refurbished items especially desktop pc's and laptops in regards to who you are purchasing them from and can they be trusted. Student Computers you have my total trust and a future customer, when I bought the laptop I new it was refurbished I did not expect to receive a laptop that in my eyes has never been touched not a single cosmetic mark at all, so if this is refurbished then what does a brand new one look like i guess polished and gleaming when you open the box. Delivery was excellent, packaged perfectly, if anyone is after purchasing from Student Computers believe me you won't be disappointed and I will be returning to you in the future. I purchased a laptop which did not meet my Son’s needs! We picked an alternative & Student Computers were excellent dealing with the replacement. Their products are exceptional quality for a good price & their communication is really excellent. They kept me up to date about the replacement. Have purchased several laptops from them & wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Bought a laptop for my daughter. Got issues with it now. Tried to contact company, phone, e-mail. No answer at all. (After 1 month of haggling, sending back item, etc, had a refund)

Bought a pair of headphones when they came they automatically turn off if not connected to a charging port had to send straight back absolutely gutted

Purchased an item from this company from another platform. No issue with the item, it's great.

However, the delivery address and the invoice details I have are different and I was unable to enter invoice details during the purchase, only the delivery address. When I reached out to explain and ask for a simple invoice with the correct details, I was repeatedly told this is no longer possible. What I needed is a simple invoice which is for my bookkeeping and accounting and nothing else.

I purchased a similar item through the same platform and my delivery address was the same just like the order with StudentComputers. That other company had no issues sending me an invoice after the purchase.

Lack of customer care, understanding and not providing a reason to "As previously mentioned we can not alter invoice details as they are automatically created from details at checkout.".

It seems that I got the same robotic response from more than one employee.

I purchased a Xbox controller, it arrived in excellent condition, and works perfectly, it looks great, no scratches or issues of that nature, and the cost was very reasonable, I will probably use them in the future.

Excellent service from text communications to helping with making the right choice and gave me a great price too and the one year guarantee just gives so much peace of mind products all refurbished to high tech to bring like new

One happy customer here and I have saved the seller to keep a look out for what other great products and great prices

Company consistently protects their backend, and is not concerned about their products once sold, will ask you questions to attempt to incriminate you with the product instead of get to the root of why their products broke down within warranty. Then they try to make it look like your review is a lie. Yes, you can’t find an order with my trust-pilot id, it’s called protecting your identity online, what was your response of trying to look into it again months later but finding no order with my Trustpilot id? What does that even mean? If you were really concerned with good customer support you would make an attempt to reach out or ask me again, but apparently because you can’t recognise my Trustpilot id as an order it’s case closed and you get to make it look made up?😂 highly unethical company, preys on students, has a history of reselling faulty products and uses their own tech team as an investigation process before denying you your warranty😂 bought a computer from student computers that had a fried motherboard, within 3 months of being extremely careful with my £800 computer it broke down and I was completely refused warranty even though I had done nothing but be super careful with the product. Sloppy returns process made me miss out on 4 days of pay working, and to top it off I had to spend another £1000 on a computer, when I could have just done it in the first place instead of dealing with this horribly run company. Their own tech team handles all their investigations, how does that work? “Yes we investigated ourselves and sorry this computer we haven’t opened the warranty for to look at the quality inside before selling is your fault for breaking down within 3 months?” This experience with this company was just ridiculous and stressful, and hopefully this poses as a good warning to everyone else.

It We have taken delivery of this Microsoft surface computer but it is damaged in several places. The case is partly open, speaker hanging out and corners smashed in. We won’t be using you again as we haven’t received response from you after several emails. A company that scams

I got a great deal on a SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL 2023 wireless keyboard. It stated in the listing that it was in very good condition, which meant used but possibly with some light scratches etc. But when it arrived it was in pristine condition, in fact the keyboard itself was still in a sealed bag. I don't know if it had been resealed, or never opened I suspect the latter. So I got a practically new keyboard for £100 less than new price, very happy. Not only that but dispatch and delivery was very fast, it arrived the day after I ordered.

I have used this company 3 times now over the years to buy refurbished apple products and pleased to say that I have never had any issues. I have never had to use the warranty and delivery has always been so quick. I have recommended to my friends and family

After ordering the wrong laptop I emailed in to change the order. Holly was a massive help in swapping the order to the correct laptop and still managed to get it to me next day. The laptop was graded very good but looked basically brand new and was supplied in the original packaging and with an original charger. Very happy

Took a bit of a gamble on this as price very good for refurbished laptop. Pleased to say, really happy with laptop and service. Excellent speed if delivery and when I queried something communications from Holly was great. Highly recommended.

Tried to order online a refurbished Chromecast for £21.99 inc postage. However, I tried many times to order wih Paypal which failed every time with Sorry something went wrong. My Paypal account is fine as I ordered an item earlier during the day and another item later on from other companies. The problem seemed to centre on my address which has a number and a single name for the 40 house private estate (eg 44 Homestead) plus town and postcode. I also tried using my credit card which also failed several times.

With difficulty I found their phone number and spoke to Alex. After a short time he called back suggesting I could place my order with Ebay or Amazon but did not know how to fix the apparent bug but would report it.

I did try Ebay and was able to place my Paypal order without difficulty but I must say my confidence was dented and I wasted a lot of time on such a trivial item

I suspect the postal code seeking software they use has a major problem with some address formats and seems not offer a Enter Address Manually option at all. Sad as they could lose a lot of business.

I bought some airpods 2nd generations from their onbuy store. Anyone who says they are fake is just lying because they are definitely real. The serial numbers match and if they were fake, it says on the apple site that the serial numbers have been ‘replaced’. Very pleased with what I got for a fraction of the normal price. Delivery was excellent and actually arrived before the estimated arrival time. I was also able to track the parcel through onbuy. Overall there was nothing wrong with my experience with them. Keep it up!

I bought a Surface Pro 5 from the company which I found had a battery which would only power it for 15 minutes. This completely defeats the purpose of having a mobile device as it has to be plugged in all the time. When I asked to return it they refused to cover the postage as they stated they could not guarantee the battery condition.

Update: after much confusion, they refunded my money.
