Best investment community I've ever been part of in my 35 years of investing

Dan provides excellent information which has been well-researched. I have been a member for just over a year and have followed his advise a number of times and have bought at the right time. Sometimes I didn't buy only to be left in the dust when the stock price jumped.
This is an excellent value for new and seasoned investors!

If you are a DYI I would encourage you to look at the Stocktrades platform. The community of investors that has developed here is simply awesome. New investors have the opportunity to interact with others who are early in the investment journey to some very experienced investors. This is accomplished through the use of the discord portion of the platform. You can ask questions and you will get a variety of responses to ponder or you can just monitor the ongoing conversations between participants to get ideas. In addition you have access to detailed reports on individual stocks and research tools that will aid in your decision making. The community that has been established is almost like a Stocktrades family with cordial interactions amongst the members on a variety of stock related topics and questions. In addition you have access to sample portfolios and Dan shares his portfolio and trades he is making in his own portfolio. I have learned tons just by monitoring conversations between members and the regular newsletters Dan puts out weekly as well as the mountain of information I have access to. I highly recommend Stocktrades premium as it is well worth the investment in your investment journey.

Good thoughtful analysis and insights. Would love to see some more useful tools (portfolio tracker, access to data) within the StockTrades platform vs needing to go elsewhere.

Seems like a very narrow focus - a whole article just on one stock.

I am very impressed with the detailed explanation of stocks. And to see your personal picks and portfolio without hiding anything is truly impressive.

I'm a long time investor who is on the cusp of retiring and I was looking for more guidance after the investor reporter closed. I have found your investment strategy sound, thoughtful, frank and enjoyable. However I'm not your target audience. I'm looking for larger dividend companies with less growth but I have found much value in your guidance

As a follow-up to your reply- yes their are some high yield stocks but it seems to me like you are chasing investments more then I am comfortable with. When another major correction occurs I want a diversified portfolio (stocks 20%F, 20%U, 16% C, 14% R, 14% M, 16% Multisector) of mostly high quality stocks. Less M&R % as I retire. I have been a believer in the power of Drips and value cost averaging on good quality stocks long term. I have owned many of the same stocks for over 30-40 years, I have a hold and stick approach adding to my position when the opportunity presents itself to rebalance my portfolio. Adding every once in a while another stock to diversity my portfolio(~30 stocks). I very rarely sell a stock fully except when things change significantly or I loose total faith in the management or space . ie: Go easy,
As I start to retire (take money out) I want to know which stocks to still have Drips on, which to sell, and which to keep taking the dividends on. You provide some of this advice and I use your info for my kids investments. Cheers Richard

Relatively easy site to navigate. Plenty of helpful info. Missing graphs, stock news, and potentially entry points.

The website is easy to navigate. I only deal is Canadian stocks so Stocktrades is the best site in my mind for information. I do not use Discord so I can't comment on that end of things. My only suggestion is you understand that some of your clients are fully retired like myself and manage there own portfolios. That being said, I have used your High Yield Portfolio and it's been a big help.

I found the investment thesis fairly thorough for the most part but there was no mention of the quality of the management team. I also was not able to find a breakdown on what methods were being used for valuating the company. It wasn't always clear whether the investment was a good value at the time of writing. If it was or wasn't, why? I was hoping that your analysis would provide this type of information.

Dan and the rest of Stocktrades are very dedicated, and the platform is second to none. Being a Premium member is literally like having your very own advisor/analyst available daily. Dan personally answers so many questions a day which has helped me with my conviction when I’m not sure, he gives honest commentary on market questions from all of us. The community is also amazing, I learned so much from everyone here, just renewed for my 3rd year and I imagine I will be with stocktrades for life. The difference in my returns since I’ve joined the platform is off the charts, excuse the pun.

The sample Portfolios are a great way to build a list of stocks and diversifying without having to do all the research yourself.
The growth bull list is especially helpful in finding growth companies that are expected to grow in the future despite the overvaluation so common thru out the market right now.

I have been a StockTrades Premium member for 2+ years and have benefitted tremendously. As a novice “late-stage” investor I started by following my bank’s guidance and invested in their suggested mutual funds (and lost money). I then tried to sort out all of the “wisdom” in the various investing sites/blogs on the Internet and make my own investments (and lost money). Then I “stumbled upon” StockTrades. The suggestions, backed by well-thought out, detailed research made sense, and also made money. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is serious about long-term investing. It has been the best investment I have ever made.

Great detailed easy to understand insights of fundamentals on Growth and dividiend stocks for Canada and US. The weekly news letter does reflect this mindset.

The access to the Dan's portfolio breakdown help me as a new insvestor for some of my investment decision. Also I am still discovering to use great tool like the screener and others.

Very good experience so far, and will be certainly br renewing my Premiuum access after my year subscription!
