Had a complicated unravelling of an order cancellation due to misleading website interface. finally got to the upper echelon of customer service and i was handled graciously and intelligently. very satisfied. only regret was the time required to reach the right individual. STIO has great products.

I bought a women’s fleece jacket and it didn’t fit. Due to COVID I missed returning it in 30 days. I never spotted their return policy was only 30 days. This seems like quite a short window and unlike other outdoor catalogs like LLBean. There seemed to be no leniency with the 30 day return. Customer service person was polite, but robotic. Will never buy from them again.

Stio has the best and warmest clothing I have used for hiking, period. The honest truth is, I did not feel the cold once while I was on a 3-day hike, allowing me to enjoy myself and not worry about being cold! 100% recommend
Absolute horrible customer service
Absolute horrible customer service, garbage products stay away! Have a new jacket that I wore a handful of time/ on the mountain. Stitching seams started to come apart on inside of pockets and wrist strap. Couldn’t even put my phone or wallet in my jacket. Called multiple times and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Finally got a email reply, after explaining situation Lauren and Tiffany from Stio suggested I cut my own seams purposely! Are you kidding me? I have the emails to prove. Who would take scissors and cut up a new jacket lol. Mind boggling. Wouldn’t fix under the warranty, they offered a discount on future purchase which I denied, why would I spend another dollar on anything from Stio, a company that doesn’t stand behind their product. Also got a rip in the arm 1st day of skiing when I brushed some branches. Just stay away, over priced garbage with horrendous customer service like everyone else who left reviews!

Same as many have already stated. I ordered a down vest Dec 2nd and it took a long time to arrive [perhaps understandable in a Covid year] but it did. Website was also problematic as a previous reviewer mentioned and I had to sort out with a customer service rep to get the order through. A little blip that alone would not be a big deal.
Unfortunately, the vest was too small although of very nice quality. When I went to order up a size they were out of stock. After a few attempts I did get a customer service rep on the phone and was told they'd probably have more in January of the size and color I wanted and I had until the end of January to return the vest if I changed my mind.
Well, no more vests came in and, in fact, the color I wanted and waited for is completely off the site. If I want to exchange for a different color/size according to their website I have to purchase a new vest [pay $199] and send the first one back and wait for a refund which from reading the reviews here seems to take forever if at all. Additionally, I ordered the first vest with a sizable discount [$40] and should be able to get an exchange for the same price.
I have emailed and called asking how to resolve this. It's been 10 days with no response. I've also called three times. No response. What gives with this company? Maybe there's been too many great snow days and they forgot they're running a company? So disappointing and frustrating.

Good products but service is terrible. Refunds take forever if you can even get one. Don’t buy!
Horrendous Service
Horrendous Service. Nice products but non-existent customer service. Took a month on a return for refund and still have had no response about another issue regarding a $649 jacket. are you kidding me? Good bye Stio, Never again unless you respond and offer an explanation or pretend like you care about your customers.
Horrible Service
Horrible Service. Worst I’ve ever experienced. They say if you email you’ll get a same day response. Maybe several days later. Then no reply after you answer their questions. Phone says they are experiencing extremely high call volumes everytime you call. They never answer. The sign in on the website doesn’t work. I ordered well before Christmas. They would t answer long enough to just give me a tracking number. Finally my order arrived three days after Christmas when I paid for expend shipping in the first place. Now I need to exchange a size and guess what? I can’t reach anyone. No integrity at all. If I ever get help I nay consider altering or removing this review.
Horrible service
Horrible service. I have yet to receive half of my order and despite multiple attempts to contact the company - all of which go to voicemail and elicit nonresponsive texts - I have had no answers. Way too low level of service. Do not recommend.
Nice products but TERRIBLE service
Nice products, HORRIBLE service. They charge your credit card, but then don't ship products and don't inform you of the delay. Customer service never answers the phone so you must email. They won't cancel an order even if it hasn't shipped and has no scheduled ship date... all while keeping your payment. Product reviews are always stellar, but no one ever mentions the service problems so I question the authenticity. Service seems to have deteriorated considerably.
