We have been using Will and the team at Star Swimming Academy for 2/3 years now and I must say THEY ARE AMAZING! Both our boys have developed into good swimmers which is great but above and beyond that they REALLY enjoy the sessions as the team (especially Will) make them so much fun.
If you have Kids who need swimming lessons (and a giggle) these guys are 100% THE BEST there is.

Will and his team deliver an outstanding person-centred service to our pupils throughout the week; providing fantastic opportunities to learn new skills and develop their physical fitness in engaging sessions.

Additionally, we have utilised his expertise to train up members of KS2 as playleaders who are an invaluable resource on the playground, initiating games with other children and maximising our fulfilment to achieving 60 Active Minutes daily.

Will and the team go the extra mile to ensure that their sessions are inclusive, fun and rewarding. I can't recommend them enough!

All three of my daughters have learned to swim here. They love coming every week because the lessons are fun and the coaches have a great sense of humour and patience.

The progress has been much faster than it was at Formby pool which were bigger classes, less time in the water and less feedback.

Having used three different swimming schools in the area I couldn't recommend Star Swimming highly enough. Absolutely brilliant first class service

Star Swimming really does make learning to swim fun! The instructors are extremely attentive, patient and build a great rapport with all the children. They are supportive and encourage the children to achieve their best! Only downside is trying to get my daughter out of the pool she loves it that much!!!

I have 2 girls who go to lessons here. I can honestly say they love every minute of it. Every instructor they have had they have loved. I have never met such a patient bunch of people. Every instructor is so friendly and knows the girls when they come in. My youngest has gone from being scared to get in to the pool to swimming in the deep end and asking to dive in. They have given her so much confidence in the water. The lessons are always fun but still ensuring the children are acting safely in the water. I recommend them to anyone looking for swimming lessons for their children. Do no hesitate to try them. My girls are still there and loving every lesson. My Son attends Star Swim Academy Julie and all the team are amazing, I would highly recommend. My son has so much confidence in the water and it’s all down to this brilliant team.

My 2 grandchildren have been at star Academy swimming for a couple of years they have moved up really well and their confidence is just boundless Julie and the gang are so helpfull And put the children first their patients with the children is so great even when the messing no one shouts no one loses their temper. It’s just a calm swim. I would recommend STAR SWIMMING ACADEMY to anybody who is looking for the children to start swimming. It’s a life skill.

Thank you star swimming! Amazing instructors with lots of patience. My daughter has reached stage 3 and is so confident. Each lesson is done in a way they make it so enjoyable for the children and fun. The staff have so much patience with them and get to know each child’s individual needs.

My daughter started with Star just before Covid after quite a negative experience with another swimming school and she lacked confidence. She has now come out the other side finishing stage 7 and not only does she adore swimming she wants to carry on competitively. Thanks to the incredible teaching of the team over the years, she’s now joined Liverpool Penguins swimming club after a trial. They are simply the best swim school - my son is now flying solo at his lessons (end of an era) but I know thanks to star swimming academy he will also end up an incredibly strong and confident swimmer like his sister! Thanks so to everyone at SSA I can’t recommend them enough!

Will and his team have a wealth of swim teaching experience across all ages, absolute joy to deal with on all levels.

This is the place to go to learn how to swim, I was a complete beginner scared of water, watching my kids from the sidelines for years until I enrolled here for lessons, now a year or so on I have no fear of the water I can swim I can float all because of Will and his wonderful team of instructors, I cannot recommend Will, Julie Peter and the rest of the team enough from reception you always feel welcome, I’ve also watched how happy kids are in lessons, don’t hesitate book today

Star swimming teaching style is something else. They provide a fun environment for the kids to learn to swim. Their staff are excellent… they’re diligent, experienced but more importantly the kids enjoy going to learn to swim.

Have been taking my 3 year old daughter to Star Swimming before she could even walk & can honestly say, there's nowhere else I'd take her to learn to swim than Star Swimming. Will is absolutely fantastic with her, the trust and love my daughter has for him is amazing to see.
Family were so impressed with the set up and the team, my Neice has recently started and is loving her lessons with Julie. The rest of the Star swimming team are always so welcoming and professional who create a fantastic, fun, safe in environment for all their students and families.
Honestly wouldn't recommend anywhere else to anybody! Star Swimming is the best around.

Stars unique teaching style really separates them from other swimming providers. My sons ability and confidence in water has really improved where now I feel confident too knowing he has the ability to manage himself whilst in pools on holidays.

Will and the team are absolutely fantastic and deliver the best swim lessons around. They are consummate professionals with decades of knowledge, with every class delivered with passion and enthusiasm. Their lessons are an absolute joy to experience.
