Hollow Promises
Promises, Promises, Promises that's all you get.
Had a Composite front door and side window fitted, which was absolutely top job.
After a few months through one summer the colour of the door was faded and the warranty covered that of which Stafford UPVC agreed.
So the long winded after sales to get it sorted was like treading in treacle. Passed from one department to another, Eventually some months later, apparently the weather has to be at a certain temperature and humidity and dust free,,,, and so it went on , even visiting the show room to complain,
The fitters removed the door and replaced it in a day ....brilliant I thought. Nooooo it was the wrong colour, so back on the phone again, being fobbed off with we will send someone to have a look, sure enough eventually some guy arrived and said yes it is.
I think they thought I was thick!
So fitters came back two weeks later and removed the door to the workshop..... no mention of the temperature .humidity and dust {Strange, perhaps another way of stalling}
Well it took a day as expected and was refitted the right colour but the fitter informed me that it needs a coat of sealer which they did not have time to do at the workshop, but would come back and do it on site.
On inspection of the refitted door it had been damaged on the chrome fittings, I phoned yet again and the answer was its been discontinued, what a bunch they are. and we are still waiting some 12 mths on since the last phone call and nothing.
Stear clear of this company the aftersales is rubbish,
Kez and Mich and the front office help desk all seemed to be trained at this customer non service.
The MD must know whats going on
