Would give 0, if allowed. I called them to let them know no water is in my property, and has been like that since the weekend due to their stop-valve was broken, and I needed it fixed in order to fix my internal pipe, as it was causing damage to the flat below me.
They say they would send engineers out ASAP as it was an emergency. I was work at the time, so I called later in the day to confirm the work was done, and they said the valve was fine as they had checked not only mine, but my neighbours'. I was doubtful that they had done it because I was advised by a plumber, as well as an engineer from South Staffs Water that it'd be "big job", as it would require SSW to come out to stop the water supply to the entire street/buildings.
When I went to check in the morning, the issue remained. So, I called them back to inform them that the problem remains. One person said it wasn't their job, and it was that of SSW. Mind you, they SSHA (Homes Plus), agreed that it was their responsibility as the stop-valve in on the premises. Another person told me that it was already looked at, and the engineers said it was working fine. After being on hold for several extended periods, they said they would send engineers out to look at it is an emergency, and I had an ill child off school. It is now 20:11hrs First call I made to them was at 11:30am - they said they would send out an engineer as of 11:56am. Still no one has come. I've been in all day, no water in the property.
Will be taking it further.
