Worst customer service ever. They completely screwed up my second PPP loan. I mean they never even submitted it to the SBA.

And when the SBA announced the loan funds were depleted and no more loans would be made, Square customer support said," Gee, we're sorry, we don't know what went wrong, but too bad for you."

Still waiting for an explanation how they completely failed to submit my loan application.

Just to be clear you sat on my application for more than six weeks then you emailed me say you cancelled it. No one at Square could explain why and I still have no answer.
But you did say I could resubmit it. Then a few days later you told me my second second PPP could not be processed because the Sba ran out of money.

If you had handled my first second PPP loan application properly you would not have to make excuses about how it takes several weeks to process an application. You had the application for almost two months. You just screwed up and screwed me in the process.

I have been a customer for 4 years and have had some good and bad experiences. The ppp loan was going to help me save my business. I had filled out my application and there were issues so I called and was directed to delete and resubmit... I did and they held it for 2 weeks and never submitted it. Little help and no information during process. Received an email Wednesday they were submitting it as soon as possible and today Saturday received an email saying they didn’t send it in time and money ran out without warning? Yet they new Wednesday and still hung on to application even tho I have had 5 loans with them and replayed everyone? It has taken a month of valuable time to say oh well sorry!
Can I get information on another company to process payments with a business that is good.... I’m so disappointed in square. They have let a lot of small businesses down.also terrible customer service.

It looks like someone fraudulently used my name to apply for credit. I wanted to contact the co to see what I could find out but there is no way to get in touch with them.

I’ve been using Square for my business for two years. It’s been great. When I got a notice that I could qualify for a PPP loan through them, my heart leapt. It’s been a difficult year. I filled out the paperwork, and quickly heard back that I could qualify ... and the amount, though small, would have been helpful. I got a call a week later - caller ID said “toll call.” The caller said they were from Square Capital and needed info. I answered all questions until they got to “last 4 numbers of your Social.” I balked. I’m getting too many robocalls to give this info over the phone and told the agent this. She said that was ok and we could verify by email. When I looked at the email that was sent, the bottom line answer was ... “sorry, you don’t qualify. Reason: couldn’t verify your identity.” I called Square Capital back, and the agent brusquely said, “There’s too much fraud associated with the PPP loans and we have to be careful.” Really? When your caller ID says “Toll Call” I’m supposed to trust that it’s YOU Square Capital and give you my social security number? Then she told me it was too late to reapply as funds are running out. Thanks for nothing.

I have had 6 loans with Square Capital, and it has been great. It is easy, and seamless. However, 2020 has been challenging, but have been consistent and doing business - this is a time a loan would be a real help. Unfortunately, came up ineligible.

Love Square Capital and Square Up. We have used them for years as our cc processor and have gotten several loans through them. It is do easy as they automatically take a preset amount from each days totals. Thank you Square!

I wrote an appreciation email right after I recieved my first ppp loan with Square, but I wanted to Thank Square team in this review for their exceptional help and support for small business community. Process was quick and simple they were above and beyond any expectations.
Look forward to a second PPP loan with Square.

Square Capital is the best . They only charged you when you use the credit card! I love it. Thank you. And let me tell you something even better. I don’t have to ask for a PPP. They base on my account with the square credit card. They send me a application. They take care of the customer . Great company. Thank you very much!

I have been using Square exclusively for almost 3 years, I have never had an issue. Fortunately I was able to revive a PPP loan through my bank in the beginning of the pandemic, when that money dried up, Square was there with enough to keep my bills paid. Thank you square!

Your service is so great and it really has small business in mind. I really appreciate your service of arbitrarily with holding my funds right before Christmas with orders to fill so I have to dip into my kids college fund to keep my customers happy. Whats really great about this is that there was no complaint or fraudulent action conducted and you guys jumped right on the problem without actually having a problem. Your support is amazing, what I mean by that it's amazingly lacking one would think a company like yours would be able to provide immediate support for the small business that you so much support and rely on for your existence, at least that's what you claim, but your actions show different. I really want to thank you for not being there to support me or my small business, especially during times like these when a small business has to struggle to survive and we do not have the luxury of taking weekends off or waiting 48 hours to respond to a customer in need. Thank you again for adding undue stress and damaging my relationship with my customers because you suspended my funds without contacting me first to clear any issues you may have manufactured with your AI system. So here we are Monday and still no support, it is a well known fact that you suspend and hold funds to utilize as a loan from small business, thank you for being another big tech Cabal taking advantage of hard working small business owners and in my case also a disabled veteran.

I have tried numerous times to reach someone by phone at Square Capital Loans regarding our loan - we emailed them to turn off our auto ACH payment and they did - then I emailed them about how to make a partial payment and received an email the
I had authorized them to start making automatic ACH withdrawals which nowhere in the email did I mention that or authorize that - I was a loyal customer with successful loans before but I have had nothing but trouble with them lately

Due to severity of COVID-19 pandemic, my business came to halt, and haven't recovered since then. The PPP loan helped little bit to pay for my business expenses. It had little effect. But I thank square capital for its support during this time.

I have successfully paid off 10 loans in 5 years.
Square has made more than $20,000 in loan fees off of my company.

I am currently close to losing everything and I really expected another loan offer. I am in excellent standing, I am currently bringing in new clients & we have invoiced during the pandemic(very little but always something). We as business owners count on these funds. I am terribly disappointed & we are now looking into another invoicing software program, if we are still in business.

DO NOT USE SQUARE, THEY COMPLETED SCREWED THIS SOLE PROPRIETOR AND SINGLE MOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS PANDEMIC AND LITERALLY DID NOTHING TO HELP MAKE IT RIGHT OR CARE ABOUT
ME. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for 3+ years and they’re a MULTIBILLION dollar company and this is how they treat they’re customers. They’re also hard to get ahold of and take their own time to respond. I reached out on my own for 5 days in a row! Before getting a “final” answer! DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. We opened a downtown hair salon & the buildout went significantly over budget. Square loans allowed us to keep our doors open & our staff paid as we built our clientele.

We love Square!

This loan was a tremendous help during the pandemic , which is still going on . My industry is still not really up and running and I wouldn’t have been able to keep my business of I had not received this.

Square Capital made applying and obtaining a PPP loan unexpectedly simple and fast. Kudos to everyone who made this daunting task smooth and efficient!

I love the ease and expediency that Square made possible with the PPP loan. I am very concerned, however, about getting more information on the "forgiveness".

Loan was a simple process,quick transfer, no hidden fees, and very easy to understand the terms. Really helped me keep my business during the COVID 19 pandemic.
