Slow food as well as slow and impolite serving
October 21 this year we had lunch in 'Zum Speissgesellen' in the old townhall in Munic. It took a long time before a waiter gave us a menu. And when we finally ordered, the male waiter apparently became insulted because my wife, who is very sensitive cøliak, asked for glutenfree dishes. He systematically delayed both the beeverages, we had ordered as well as the food, which was very simple to prepare (my wife had some turkey meat on spear without the sauce that contained gluten). As our waiter was impossible to get into contact with, I two times asked other waiters when we could have our food. The first time without result, the other with the answer, that 'it was in the kitchen' ??. When we finally had our meals it had taken so long that other customers, who had arrived after us, had been served, had finished their meals and had left.
In higher ranking restaurants 'slow food' has become a popular concept. In 'Zum Speissgesellen' they apparently try to improve this by adding slow and impolite serving.
