Katie was hugely helpful and responsive to an issue I had. She gave superb initial upfront advice and then spent quality time walking me through a contract and the implications or meaning, making it feel very straight forward to understand. I would highly recommend her and this company.

Excellent support and communication from paralegals ( Vicky) when dealing with the sale of my property. Solicitor was not as efficient at communication though and required chasing to ensure sale got over the line. Her telephone manner on completion day was rather brusque and didn't appear to take into account that I was the client being represented by their firm. Appeared to lack empathy for my situation being a new mom juggling this sale.

We used Smith partnership (Swadlincote branch) to deal with the conveyancing when selling our house as we have had good experiences with them before. Jodie Aston, Zoe Goddard and the rest of the team are absolutely 💯 the best in the business. Seriously. Their communication and commitment is top notch. Smith and partners were in charge of the conveyancing of my first property. Honestly I couldn't be more disappointed with how they delt with it. It took an unreasonable amount of time till completion, I had 4 different people working on it as they kept switching around who was handling the case. Trying to get hold of these people is a living nightmare as so many different people working on different things so you can never get to the right person. They are either on holiday on their lunch break or its their day off. Even the estate agents were shocked at just how bad they were and recommend that I complain. A date was set for completion then on the day Smith Partnership said they weren't ready for completion even though the other side was ready to hand keys and steps had been made for movers and friends and family took time off to help all for me to have to tell them to rearrange because my solicitor's weren't ready. After all that the final bill was paid, 3 months later I receive an email from Smith Partnership telling me I still owe them money. This is incredibly unprofessional and unfair as all the money we had has now been spent on general costs of moving into a home. No point trying to call someone to complain or ask for information as there mailbox is either always full or they just dont get back to you. I couldn't be more disappointed. Buying a house and moving is an incredibly stressful thing to do and these people make it worse.

Misha Varia and Timothy Kirk acted for us in the sale of a property. The sale took a long time because our first buyer pulled out for his own reasons, so it was very frustrating. Throughout the process Misha and Tim not only worked efficiently and responded promptly, but kept us informed and at times went the extra mile.
