I quite like the functionality and usability, I keep my to do list on my phone, and two PCs (Office and home)...

Should be great... But it isn't: it keeps deleting cells!

Deleting entries on my to do list… things that I need to do… It makes it completely useless (and that’s when I notice, goodness knows how many times I have lost stuff)

(I’ve had to restore from a point in time twice now and looks like I need to do again!)

Forget feature, usability’s etc, unless it actually keeps the data in my spreadsheet: it is COMPLETELY USELESS!

Come on Google… get the basics working!

I've been using Smartsheets as a free trial user. I was thinking of whether it was worth converting to a paying customer when the trial run out but I had a few questions about the pricing model and services that are available to individual users (the information on the website is very limited). I used the online chat with 'Tom' but all I received were a few, terse, irrelevant or ambiguous one line responses. There was a complete lack of care in answering my questions and a total ambivalence about whether I converted to a paying customer. Being in a different country, I asked if he would phone me, he refused saying that they don't provide support to individual customers! Wonderful, they'll take your money but won't give you support.

A far as the product goes, it's pretty clunky and very limited customisation features. I didn't get my questions answered about collaborators so I couldn't fully evaluate it however as for customer support, well, that's non-existent! There are plenty of other cheap project management tools out there, I'd avoid this one.

Used this since its beginning, hoping for it to be much more than a collaborative spreadsheet with text and document entries... But it has greatly dissapointed. Cumbersome to use interface (search, browsing, filtering, labeling) Nothing about it is snappy, modern, interactive, corporate. The device app is terrible. It was a great solution in 2011, not so much today.

Having used a number of different systems in the past on projects, I am very happy to say I made the switch to Smartsheet and have not looked back since. Apart from using it for projects, it seems to have automatically become my preferred system to do just about everything from budgeting to resource management and even just sharing data.

The great thing about Smartsheet is that it has the robust features and abilities of spreadsheet software that most professionals are familiar with, plus it has great collaboration features that keep people updated, in the loop, and with access to files they need. It also has a great library of templates that others have developed, so it's easy to find something to start with and customize to your needs. Smartsheet has been the go-to collaboration tool for my team for the past 8 years!

I have been a SmartSheet user since 2011. Over that time I have used the this tool for a variety of functions, including project management, document sharing and management, spreadsheet tool, survey tool. It has helped to organize my life at home and work, and I get satisfaction when I can introduce this great affordable tool to others.

Great package, we are now running our company on smart sheets.

Would love to have images showing on the project sheets as we use them as skew lines in our order management.

Task lists don't work unless they have a communication factor built in. That's what this product is - a spreadsheet (and a lot more) with communication.

If you like MS Project, you will like this and get the benefits of being able to share with others. All they need is a GAPPS account

Have used Smartsheet in a number of different applications and it has proved to be a very handy tool.

we use Smart sheet as a live order tracker for our clients. Gives them real time information.

At first, Smartsheet was attractive by just how much better it was than Google...MUCH BETTER!

However, when I learned we could incorporate collaboration, and the ability to isolate specific rows for sharing, it immediately became a powerful solution to workflow challenges we really had yet been unable to solve.

Especially once I realized we can easily integrate Box.com and share links to new video previews with clients on the same Smartsheet row we asked them to review for confirming the metadata we would use when we syndicate that video...THAT'S HUGE! Previously, this took emails, phone calls, this platform and another...now we send them ONE Update Request and they've GOT IT!

Which means we get what we often could not get done effectively before.

It's really amazing. It's not just Smart, it's Brilliant!

It is the glue that binds of resources, yet allows flexibility and remains attached to our core business activity. Simply would not look at anything else.

We have been a Smartsheet user for 3-4 years. It is a valuable part of the daily operation of our company. Smartsheet is utilized by our entire organization. One of the most important attributes of Smartsheet is that it constantly evolves, and the users benefit. I would highly recommend to users that want to have a tool to communicate throughout their company, a place to manage the flow of projects, with documented communication, or a place where project information can be kept and utilized in one area.

In a time pressed environment, where data needs to be collaboratively gathered, analysed and reported, you can not go past Smartsheet.

We use Smartsheet to coordinate hundreds of schedules, event plans, contact lists, project plans and almost every other piece of materials in delivering Major Sporting Events!

I have been using Smartsheet for about 3 years and have had great success with it.

We are a Google campus so SmartSheet works perfectly for managing projects: Links to Google Docs, SmartSheet Add Ons like Merge allow for creating formatted reports in Google Docs using SmartSheet data rows. SmartSheet Alerts is a great feature not provided by Google Docs and works wonderfully with SmartSheet Web Forms. We're alerted of a submission for every entry, immediately or once daily if desired. Update Requests allow for easy tracking and follow up of action items. I call it Google Docs on steroids. For you're using Google Docs/Email/Calendar then user adaptability is not a problem. I love that SmartSheets is continuously evolving but adding new features. Keep it up SmartSheets. :)

I'd used this service for many years now and they're always top notch when you reach out to them on the rare occasions when you need to.

You can't grow a business without Smartsheet so stop trying.
