I popped into the Sky store at St James Quarter just to ask a few questions about an offer email I’d received and had an excellent experience.

Carl was friendly, welcoming and took the time to answer all my questions. He even found me a better deal than the one I’d originally received and guided me through the process of ordering Sky TV and broadband.

In an increasingly online world, it was refreshing to receive such first-class customer service from someone who genuinely wanted to help. Thanks Carl.

Very disappointed with the service I received at the Sky shop in St James Centre, Edinburgh.

When I entered the store, none of the staff acknowledged me or even looked up. After standing waiting, the staff then seemed unable to decide who was actually going to serve me.

I only visited the store because a Sky engineer, who had recently reconnected my services after I moved house, advised me that I would get a better deal in-store than over the phone. However, when I asked about deals and available services, I was simply told that the call centre would be able to help me better.

I also asked about taking a streaming box home with me, as the engineer had told me the shop stocked them, but the staff said they do not carry them.

After spending an hour on the bus to get there, I explained that the visit had been a waste of time and that the service had been unhelpful. The response I received was “What do you want me to do?” along with a shrug of the shoulders.

This level of customer service was unacceptable and has left me seriously considering cancelling my Sky subscription altogether.

I can't get through to a person on Sky and I have problems with my account. I don't really wish to put all the details on here but I can't get help and I'm being over charged from 1st April 2026. It's like an April Fools bad joke. Do Sky employ people ?

Cameron is the one who served us. She is very kind and polite serving us who provided lots of information and details of the broadband. She is the one for you if you need WiFi or any kind service.

I needed a new phone and the staff at sky helped so much in helping me understand what phon would be best for me and the knowledge they had was amazing on the phones they sold. The whole process was delightful and easy going. I would totally recommend people to come here.
