Very Disappointing Service
Very Disappointing Service – Poor Communication and Unacceptable Delays
My experience with Signature Law has been extremely disappointing. The main issues have been poor communication, a lack of proactive follow-up, and unacceptable delays in progressing my conveyancing matter.
Despite being a cash buyer and providing all the requested source-of-funds evidence more than six weeks ago, I have repeatedly been told that the documents are still under review, without receiving a clear update or explanation.
The seller’s solicitor confirmed that replies to enquiries had been sent, yet I still had to chase Signature Law repeatedly for progress. After raising a formal complaint, Ikechi was assigned to my case, and I was promised feedback on the outstanding enquiries by a specific deadline. Unfortunately, that deadline passed without the promised update, leaving me once again having to chase for information.
What is particularly frustrating is the lack of accountability and the need to repeatedly follow up on matters that should be handled proactively by a professional conveyancing firm. I understand that conveyancing takes time, especially for leasehold properties, but that does not justify poor communication, missed commitments, or a lack of transparency.
I expected a much more professional and responsive service. Instead, the experience has caused unnecessary frustration and uncertainty about the progress of my purchase.
I hope Signature Law takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication, case management, and customer service. Based on my experience so far, I would advise prospective clients to carefully consider these issues before instructing the firm.
