We had an excellent experience with Tara at Shining Diamonds from the moment we stepped into the shop. With so many jewellers in Hatton Garden, it can feel quite overwhelming trying to decide who to trust, but we’re really glad we came across Shining Diamonds.

Tara was very welcoming, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the 4 C’s in detail and made sure we fully understood everything before making any decisions. We were also given the opportunity to view the diamond properly before purchase, which gave us real confidence in what we were buying.

On collection day, everything was presented beautifully and again we were shown full details and certification of the diamond, which was very reassuring.

Overall, a really smooth and professional experience from start to finish. We would definitely recommend Shining Diamonds, and especially Tara, who was informative, honest, and genuinely helpful throughout.

We had such a fantastic experience working with Joby from start to finish. From our very first meeting, he made us feel completely at ease—taking the time to walk us through the process, offering thoughtful options, and giving genuinely helpful advice without any pressure.

His communication throughout was excellent, keeping us informed and confident at every stage. What really stood out was how he translated my fiancés vision into reality. Even when the CAD design didn’t quite look how we had imagined, Joby reassured us—and he was absolutely right. The final ring was exactly what she had always dreamed of.

My wholly online experience of customising a pre-designed ring was an absolute delight with Shining Diamonds. A huge thank you to Julianne Y for all of her help in not only helping me customise the ring to be the most perfect ring AND still fit in my budget, but also having the ring ready in under 2 weeks!!!

When I initially found the ring I wanted to propose to my partner (whom I have been with for almost 3 years, with the most recent 1 and a half of those years being long distance) with, I got in touch with Shining Diamonds through their WhatsApp link, through which I communicated with Julianne Y. She was very responsive and excited to help, which really made me feel empowered through the whole process. Although the initial design I wanted wasn't able to ready in time, she helped me to find another design that was actually MORE beautiful and still fit into my budget. The whole process was very smooth and stress free, even when difficulties arose such as the V12 Finance form not working!

My brother (who picked up the ring for me as I do not live in London) also said that the pick up process was very smooth and the team were very accommodating!

Our experience with Shining Diamonds in Brighton has been fantastic. We were looking for a replacement engagement ring and had an awful experience with a different jewellers elsewhere so we needed everything to be right. Joby was a really helpful throughout the process and we were really pleased with the end result. Communications were forthcoming and when the ring was first made it didn't pass the quality assurance but they got in touch explained what was happening and made a lovely ring under the time scales they gave which we were so pleased with. Joby was professional and friendly and we would not hesitate to recommend him and Shining Diamonds !

Summary; this jewellery store is the 'jewel in the crown' of the Jewellery quarter. We travelled from Somerset to Birmingham to visit them, and were very happy to have done so. Looking forward to collecting items in due course

I was looking to propose to my partner and was on a very tight timescale as wanted to do it on a specific trip. Joby at Shining Diamonds in Brighton helped me put together the ring I wanted in rapid time (on my lunch break) and I had it all ordered and delivered within a very quick 3-4 week timescale. The ring was perfect and my partner loved it. Joby and the team also organised us coming in after to get the ring modified slightly as my partner wanted.
