Booked easily online. We have them clean our windows twice a year. I was surprised to see the poor reviews here. I have used two different Ontario locations with great experience.

I booked a window cleaning with Shackshine for this Friday March 20th two weeks back. They called today to inform me they were bumping the appointment due to weather, and then told me they couldn't get me in on Monday March 23rd because that would mean bumping someone else - to which I replied "well why should I be made to wait extra long instead of making everyone wait a little". To which the customer rep told me he was just going to cancel the appointment. I can see what they're reviews are so poor.

I booked Shack Shine to do some gutter cleaning; they said start time would be between 8 to 10 am. It's past 11 now and so far, no sign of them. Also they got the scope of work and price wrong AFTER we sent them comments on the original quote. They simply re-sent the original quote and scheduled a date. VERY poor and I will not use them again

I booked Shack Shine for gutter cleaning in the Aurora area and couldn’t get an appointment until Nov. 27. Then at 10 PM the night before, I get an email saying “sorry to see you go” and that my appointment was cancelled. I was confused. Thirty minutes later, another email claims it was cancelled due to an upcoming storm. The next day? No storm. Above 0.

Fine. I rescheduled for Dec. 1. And once again, at 10 PM TWO days before, they cancel due to “weather.” Again—no snow, beautiful sunny day, above 0.

Seriously… this is a bungalow, not Everest. Wouldn’t it make more sense to check conditions on the actual day instead of blindly relying on the Weather Network? Or better yet, shut down your gutter cleaning webpage so you don’t waste people’s time booking services you clearly don’t intend to provide.

I won’t waste another minute with this company. I cleaned the gutters myself—done! And I saved myself $300. Very disappointed.

The two kids arrived and started with a power washer to the exterior of the small home. It was not taking off the webs and grime. After a few hours I said its not working and complained, so they decided to use a brush with the water hose.The manager did call and said he would fix things, but I had not looked at the windows yet. Things went from bad to worse as when they left I opened the windows and there was grime and dirt all inside the tracks , screens and windows. I called the company and the manager said thats all EXTRA!. So much for detail at 1000$ and he proceeded to tell me that they will not clean tracks or remove screens unless you pay extra. Please stay away from this company as its all hype and no production. I had water and foot marks in my tub and never cleaned as the worker left . . I had an open house right after. The manager kept referring to the 'quote" and extra costs. I then said well what is a window washing if they dont do the whole window including frames? I asked for them to return and do them properly and they refused and cancelled my appointment unless I paid extra. Why not do the job right in the first place ! stop charging for the extras and "a la carte " window washing . They call themselves DETAILED and yet its further from the truth. Dont fall for the hype!

First time hiring Shackshine to clean - eavestrough/gutters. Very professional duo - Garth and Ben. Polite, through - unlike some companies, did a good job cleaning up the leaves/debris that fell to the ground. Did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend this GTA duo from Shackshine.
