My car needed new gearbox and a lot of repair work service4service were very helpful Leon kept in touch throughout from trailer picking up car cost and timescale of repairs and after repair communication

I recently had my gearbox rebuilt by Service4Service and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I got in touch with Malachy he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do.

They diagnosed the fault quickly, explained everything in plain language, and gave me a fair, transparent quote with no hidden surprises. Turnaround time was faster than expected, and the quality of the work speaks for itself – the gearbox shifts smoother than ever and drives like new.

What really stood out was the level of communication throughout the whole process. I was kept in the loop at every stage, which gave me real peace of mind. You can tell this is a team that takes pride in their craft and actually cares about getting it right.

had my gearbox rebuilt here, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. After the repair, I started having serious issues with the gearbox. The car shifts into 5th gear at around 30 mph, which is clearly not normal and makes driving unsafe.

I contacted them to explain the problem, but they did not fix it properly. Instead, they charged me £360 without resolving the issue. I expected a professional service, but the problem remains exactly the same.

Overall, I am not satisfied with the service and would not recommend this place based on my experience.

I would just like to day a massive THANK YOU, to Leon for supporting me through my repair although it's still not complete Leon and even Elliott have been amazing at taking my calls and reassuring me through out the whole process! I can't thank them enough but especially Leon who has managed the whole process from start to end.

Great service, Elliot was really helpful from the start right through to completion, he had a full knowledge and understanding of the problem I had and explained every process from start to finish clearly including costs ect. Just had my ford focus repaired through service4service. They were great throughout the process. Leon handled everything really well and was proactive in keeping me updated throughout and speeding up the process due to large delays from my warranty company. Couldn’t ask for a better service. My experience with Service4Service was great! When I first called them with an issue with my BMW they were very patient and were able to offer a lot of advice especially around my warranty that I had.
Throughout the process they kept me updated with everything and worked directly with my warranty company. They were able to get the warranty to pay out for my claim! This was a relief as I was sceptical of them paying out as I know what they are like!
I got my car back in a timely manner and everything was good and I felt like the car drove better than before.
Great service from them and would highly recommend!

Customer service and follow up was great, work on my car was done efficiently and on time, Elliott Cox kept me informed as work progressed, pricing was very fair and comes with warranty.Elliott Cox rang me a week later to see if the car was performing correctly and I was happy with their work . I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM to anyone who needs work on their car

Thanks to Elliot and the team at Service4Service, I was able to arrange a repair on my elderly father-in-law's Kuga when the Powershift transmission developed issues. The only local repairer in Northern Ireland wasn't particularly interested in helping, but Elliot and the team were helpful in taking on the work which suited as I was due to travel to England. The work was completed fairly quickly despite the Christmas break, and there was friendly communication throughout, and much appreciated flexibility in facilitating me picking up the car at the weekend for the drive home. The work was expensive, but on a par with other quotes for Ford Powershift repairs (and unlike some other garages comes with a 1 year warranty) and the car has been transformed by the repair with smooth quiet gearshifts now the norm

Why would you use Service 4 Service when you can do the leg workfor yourself.

For me the reasons are thus, for gearbox work I would have to travel for two hours to get to Birmingham for a garage (obviously 2 hours back) with a car following me for said return. Gearbox box specialist for automatics are hard to find.

Next, the work would take a very long time, so I would need to contact the garage to chase the progress on a regular basis and probably be fobbed off with various excuses.

Once car is ready we have the Birmingham trudge again.

Now Service 4 Service offers a new and relaxing approach. Once you contact them and explain the problems they will take away all the stress and hassle.

They arrange for the car to be picked up. It is taken to one of their recognised garages. From there it is inspected and within a few days you are spoken to and informed of the worked required and given a quote for repairs.
Once agreed , the work is carried out and you will be contacted on a regular basis with updates

The car is then returned to you and everyone is happy.

The gentleman who was my point of contact was Elliot, very professional and pleasant to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble.
The towing companies who picked up and returned mr car were lovely and very careful. The car came back clean and a quick peek underneath revealed a very clean gearbox. On the road it drives beautifully
and shifts very smoothly. The turn around time for the car was very quick when you consider how much work needed to be done.

From the first contact to getting my car back repaired Service 4 Service were amazing. They constantly kept me updated on progress and what they planned to do to repair my car. The car was collected from my house and they diagnosed the problem the next day sending me a detailed breakdown of what was required and what the cost would be. When the repair was completed my car was returned within hours. My main contact, Pete, was amazing. Thank you
