Horrendous company, poor training, poor management, they treat criminals better than their employees. They put everyone and anyone on training courses for extra £ from the Government then they go out of their way to fabricate stories and make up any excuse to get rid of you.
You can’t have an opinion or brain cell if you work for that company they want bobble heads incapable of thinking, caring or understanding anything.
If you have no morals, self respect or integrity then this is the place for you.
Vile company not disability friendly at all, def not working in the interests of citizens just ripping off tax payers and abusing their employees.
Victimizes anyone whose face doesn’t fit, targets new starters they don’t like while ignoring the gross misconduct of long term employees they’re friendly with.

Despicable attitude & THE POOREST customer service I have ever had to deal with, there’s two sayings that will describe them thoroughly.
1- The fish stinks from the head down.
2- The things that one hangs around most one will become like, (they collect wastage and Rubbish!

Asked Basingstoke council to pick up large furniture items they use Serco They did not pick up said first could not get access then too steep then too heavy I put items were told too outside even covered from rain This Company is absolutely useless as you can probably tell from other reviews I am 70 my wife is 67 and we moved items further than they had too Can only think their workers are 5 year old ballerinas with broken arms if they can not lift what we did Management are numbskulls Whatever you do don’t use these for anything or you will regret it

I would like to express concerns regarding Serco's provision of temporary housing for migrants. The company fails to offer adequate support and guidance to migrants, resulting in difficulties in their integration into the local community.

Additionally, the conditions around the housing units raise health and safety concerns. Poor waste management, such as stacked and torn open rubbish bins and the presence of bottles filled with urine, poses risks to both migrants and neighboring residents.

Attempts to communicate these issues to Serco have been ignored. The company's practices appear to be inconsistent with ethical standards, and I urge Serco to take immediate action to improve their service and address these concerns.

Refused to empty my.general waste alleged it had diy waste in it no such waste was in the bin then they changed it to metal waste. Crap customer service crappie attitude told to take waste to a recycling centre a broken hoover part and a cat scratching post apparently is to risky fo thus woke company to deal with

MY ADVICE TO THEIR CURRENT STAFF = PLEASE DONT SEEK JOBS WITHIN THE NHS OR GOVERNMENT

Nobody cares, standards are below 0 and currently they collect my unwanted stuff. Imagine if they had to do something with my loved one or with something important ??????!!!!!

I was running a Level 3 Bootcamp with the organisation, which has been an ordeal. Firstly, the organisation aimed to exclude me from the participation notwithstanding my academic background but they had to allow me to participate in the end. I noticed that there were some quite unsuitable participants in the first online session, including a lack of sufficient English language skills. Those people have never been challenged to participate and left the course later on their terms. Therefore, I am confident to underline that the organisation attempted to discriminate against me due to some of my characteristics.

Furthermore, the technical part of the course has not been delivered consistently and the organisation failed to commit to the learning journey properly. It is a very discriminative climate with very subjective and pre-conceptual thinking. They do not like non-English ethnicity/nationality or people, who are not perceived by them as English. They pretend their commitment to British values but they do breach them frequently by routine.

Following that, I suspended my participation in the course and they kept me on their administrative roll in order to demonstrate that they were completing the course with me too. I assume this is important for governmental statistics and funding access for them. It is important that they damage meritocracy and a culture of integrity in education and work ethics as well. The course should integrate a guaranteed job interview as well, but the organisation cannot or is unwilling to secure a job for the course participant. They set up a sham illusion of arranging interviews and working in the background for the course participants but they do not do and their business network is based on friendship and an internal group of people. I am certain that some people are picked up due to various suitable attributes that may not coincide with the meritocratic or sincere characteristics of the candidate. It is biased and corrupt. Half the material of the course 'valuable part' has not been delivered by a high degree of integrity and it was not supposed to be delivered for some reason. The process is well prepared and set up in advance. Some beneficiaries make a skyrocket of money out of this corruptive and systemic imitation of educational activity/service.

However, this organisation is a core component of modern Britain and illustrates how corrupt the country is on an institutional level - fundamentally. The rule of law and citizen rights are for a selected group of people and the illusion of British values is for the rest of 'losers' in order to keep running the system.

I had an interview to be a dual badge officer, I feel the interview process is awful. I answered all the questions then did the role play over the phone which I feel is very awkward. I haven't applied for a job to do a drama scene as I'm no actor. I didn't get the job offer as I wasn't good enough but surely that's why you have 5 weeks training to begin with? I just feel the whole point in the interview would be to see what your like as a person not an actor.

Serco is the most useless, and employees are a total waste of time. Stay away to save yourself the headache.

I haven’t got my sick pay on the following date-

I am hoping I’m going to receive my sick pay up until I’m fit enough for work.

I am currently dealing with family issues. Therefore I cannot return to work until this matter is urgently solved.

As of 26/03/23- I hope to be mentally and physically better to return back to work.

Saw a group chat on our managers teams when he was screensharing his screen for degrading women and the title of the chat was horrific. Whats worse i reported this to higher ups who ignored me after telling them.

Unproffesional trainning not good there employ people on a power trip i do not like this company and sia need to investigate this company

Do not rent out your property to these people under their schemes such as assylum seeker.I did and regretted it and lost £1000's.They will destroy your home.

For 13 years I have had an assisted collection for my bins. Over these 13 year there have been many issues with the men not returning the bin to where it lives.
Two weeks ago, they failed yet again to return it, leaving it behind my car, meaning the car could not be got out. Having had a knee replacement, 10 weeks previously, I was due to see my consultant that day, this had to be cancelled. I was informed by the Leader of the NNDC, serco was to be speaking to the crew. No fault of Tim Adam's, but the same thing has happened again today, 31/7/2023, and at 16.45, the bin remains blocking in the car.On top of that, ny neighbour came to say she had my bin and me hers!!
If they could get it out, why can't they put it back.

Over the years the job of a refuse collector has got easier and easier. Wheelie bins rather than older bins which required carrying, customers bringing out their own bins rather than operators collecting them from the property as they used to, customers even pointing the bins in the right direction, a lorry that empties the bin at the touch of a button. This is not hard work.

And yet refuse collectors can’t even be bothered to put your bin back where you left it (outside your own house) No, you have to walk along the street sorting through bins until you find your own! Even old people have to do this!

If these people have even the slightest hope of support from the public then all they have to do is……DO YOUR JOBS PROPERLY!

Only just moved to this area, and awaited my first Garden Bin collection. It never happened.
When I contacted NNDC to ascertain why, I was told SERCO had "run out of time" but that they would collect it the following day.
I even received a phone call from a female at SERCO confirming the same thing.
THAT didn't hapen either!
When I contacted SERCO for an explanation, they basically didn't have one - sorry, but I don't accept "we ran out of time" as any kind of reason, let alone an excuse, 2 days running.
They're happy to take my money, but then fail to provide me with the service for which I've paid.
Added to which, when asked what I should now do, and when would the garden waste now be collected, the girl said "just leave it out everyday, and if we haven't collected it in a week, give us another call"
Seriously???????
Is this any way to run a business, let alone claim to provide a service?
On the basis of entering into a contract, for which payment was made in advance, this so-called company has failed at the first attempt, the second attempt, and is incapable of providing information for a third attempt!
Utterly useless and unfit for purpose.
If you cannot keep your part of this contract, which you inherently cannot, then I'll have my money back thankyou.

Started what I thought would be a really rewarding and satisfying career, gave up a good job entered the training programme of 5.5 weeks. Week 1 ok Week 2 uniform👍Week 3 not yet vetted(no problem) Week 4 nowhere to go because the other 7 were on part of a course my eventual position didn’t require so I went to a transport depot to learn, not vetted can’t do anything in the meantime uniform all wrong for my job as an ECO week 4 I departed organisation is shocking 2/3 trainers were excellent others don’t tell you the truth just what they think you want to hear,no doubt for the remaining 7 yes 7 thier nightmare continues all I will say to potential custodies your cases maybe adjourned owing to transportation problems Shame some members of staff are 5* but sadly when it comes to organisation it’s worse than the House of Lords. Run a company they couldn’t run a bath!!
