Two issues:
1. The google chrome plugin is very unreliable - so sometimes you record a video and it gets lost (wasting your time). This is about 50% of time currently. Making unusable.
2. They have no cancellation button. You have to ask them to cancel your subscription and monitor to make sure they do it. In the year 2024 where all SAAS companies are transparent - this is a bottom 1% of market practice.

UPDATE
3. When you send them an email to cancel - they don't respond for 7+ days. This company is either fraudulent or highly disorganized. I've downgraded rating to 1 star. Avoid.

The team behind Sendspark is amazing too, I have personally talked to Bethany over e-mail and anytime I've needed any help her and her team were there, including a recent interaction for some customer service support which Dan helped me with. My issue was resolved within 10 minutes, that's formalities, introducing the problem, troubleshooting and resolving... under 10 minutes.

Sendspark is a complete scam, you make it so that customers have a hard time cancelling subscription to get money. Get it together! and get your site together!

Sendspark is a slick video recorder. I love how I can have different workspaces in one account, so I can match the branding of my business to the videos. It's perfect!

I had been using Loom, but now I'm just getting settled in with Sendspark. I'm happy with the switch. It's very intuitive, and the onboarding process (on the site and via email) has been smooth. So far, so good!

Love how easy it is to use!

AMAZING product, that blows the competition out of the water!

I have used Loom and Vidyard and others in the past. Sendspark did their homework and discovered the pain points of the other software applications out there and takes a completely different approach.

Rather than just create a video then add feature feature feature, and force it all to be templated for every video, Sendspark turns this all on its head. They said, let's start with a webpage template, and build it block by block for an incredible experience for your viewer. Colours and company logo are standardized as you would expect for all videos.

For example, as of right now you can add a call to action button that is specific for every video, not standardized across all videos. This is a game-changer in my opinion, as where you want to send someone watching an onboarding video is not the same place you want to send someone watching a demo video.

There are customizations to the thumbnail, like adding text or a logo. Also, the animated thumbnail can be downloaded as a gif or MP4 to share on social media. In addition, there is embed code for both web pages and your email campaign software like Mailchimp or whatever you use. You can copy thumbnails that are optimized just for Outlook. As with competitors, you can get the static or animated thumbnail copied with a single click of a button. Also, similar to competitors, you can choose the specific segment of the video for the animated thumbnail.

In addition, that I have not tried yet, are templates of video formats, a clear definition between a team and personal videos tabs, and the ability to quickly shift videos between the two tabs and from the video requests tab.

SAY WHAT? Did I say video requests?

The pièce de résistance is video requests! You can send someone a link and ask for a video from them. Think testimonials, feedback, videos on issues with your software/website, especially if they are not technically savvy and know how to create a screen recording themselves. When I saw this, it's the feature that made my mind go KABOOM! Mind blown! Usually, you would need to get a separate software for this, download the video and then upload to the common space at the company. This would include wait time and intense data usage, pain pain painful! Even if you buy into a video request software, and they are trying to be a video creation software too, they are often missing some major features.

So Thank you sooooo much to Sendspark and their amazing team for all the hard work that went into creating this amazing product. You are all rockstars!

Simple tool. Does what it is supposed to do!

The request a video feature is something that's missing from most other video recording software that I tried. It makes requesting video testimonials from clients so much easier.

Sendspark has totally transformed my consultancy via personalized video emails, especially with repeat business and referrals. It's a solid product and I've been impressed with the customer support and product roadmap (especially the LinkedIn integration)

SendSpark helps you take email marketing to a whole new and personal level. You can make a deeper connection with your customers and potential customers with a simple video. I love the templates that are provided. It's so easy to create and send. I'm looking forward to seeing my conversions and customer retention improve withe the help of SendSpark!

So far I love sendspark! I used to use loom but they did not offer templates to use like sendspark does! I also love that once you complete the recording it asks you if you want to keep the video. Look didn’t do that and I would have to take an extra step to re-record.

I'm a HUGE Loom user and have been for awhile. Loom was amazing for it's time but SendSpark feels like the upgraded version and the global branding options are so cool. LOVING SendSpark so far.

Sendspark is the best thing that has happened for our email communication. Not only is it an ultimate timesaver (so much quicker than writing) it allows us to create a much more personalized and intimate communication stream with our clients. Do yourself a favor an start using video in your emails!

I purchased Sendspark for my business to communicate with clients and to train staff. I've been using a similar tool, but this one is easier to use and a better fit.

So far I like it a lot! It is simple and suites my needs.

I am having trouble setting up the custom domain. That's the reason for the 4 out of 5 stars.

I started to use send spark for my cold email outreach and it is a game-changer.

When doing cold emails. you need to personalize your approach to get more responses and book more meetings. Making videos is great to do that

My only feedback is I wish you can upload a list of prospects and make a video for each prospect and sync to a cold email tool. In my case, lemlist.

I started to use Sendspark on their Free Plan. But it did not take me long to move to their paid plan. I work in the Wedding and Events industry and I needed a platform that would allow me to customise responses to enquiries.

Now I can reply to an enquiry and record a custom video message with screen captures from my library of photos. This means that I can customise my response to a specific Event of Wedding enquiry, and show examples of what I am trying to communicate.

For example, I can show examples of how I dealt with issues at a particular venue with visual examples and commentary. And I can show alternative options very quickly as I navigate my Gallery Library. Also, as weddings are also a personal experience, prospective clients are able to see me, hear my tone of voice and how I would present in front of their guests.
Being able to do that in one piece of video content is really useful to me. Also, the dealbreaker for me is the ability to drop that video message into my Gmail with an animated GIF. That to me is really cool and eye catching.

I would recommend trying the Free Plan and take it from there.
