The delivery team were very polite and quick to unpack and set up the furniture.

They where very good, especially when they took the two chairs through,and then to my surprise the sofa whent over my front fence.so all in all it went well ❤️‍🩹 . Because I'm from Wales the guys were Welsh, it was great. So thank you very much for a lovely three piece suite. WE ALL LOVED IT.

We went to Poltronesofa in Plymouth to look at chairs but ended up buying 2 sofas.
Nimmy was absolutely amazing, she helped by showing us different sofas, fabrics and explained everything we needed to know regarding the recliners, lumbar support etc.
Nimmy was just perfect, she was attentive but not pushy, she gave us time and space to make the right decision for us. We visited over 3 days before ordering and each time the experience was wonderful.
We spoke to other staff members during our visits and again received a wonderful welcome and just the best customer service. We can’t wait for our sofas to arrive- thank you Nimmy and the team for your patience with us while making a decision and for such a warm welcome

From the moment we stepped into the Plymouth, Devon store we were impressed. Nirmala greeted us with a smile and was very professional. She demonstrated the different capabilities of the recliners and spoke confidently about all the sofas on offer and how versatile they were with the choice of leathers or fabrics available.

Very happy with the service, even though they are sales driven, it didn’t feel like we were pressured into buying. We had plenty of time and space to make our own decisions. The best thing about it, you could pick and choose from different styles and bring them together into a fabric and colour of your choosing and sooooooo many choices to choose from.

Mark the gentleman who served myself and my wife made us feel welcome and assured us we won't have the same mistakes again like last time we ordered a sofa from scs,
Are last time wasn't a good experience dealing with scs nothing but problems sofa came looked used had to accept the sofa and deal with customer service in Sunderland think took 8 months to sort in the end all the cushions and infillls were the wrong make for are sofa so we were really worried this time round ordering again
But mark assured us any problems at a worst case come back into store and he will sort anything out.

The staff were very helpful without being pushy, giving us all the time we needed to make up mind. So many gorgeous sofas to choose from on any color you want.

I went to SCS in Plymouth and was greeted by Mark who was extremely helpful, polite and not at all pushy. I explained my requirements and when I explained I have a cat, he was able to point me in the direction of "pet proof" fabric for the 2 x 2 seater sofas I wanted to buy. I am not good at decisions and he retired gracefully whilst I pondered, and reappeared as soon as I went looking for him with my decision. He was very knowledgeable and advised me about any extra I might deem necessary and explained my finance options succinctly. Now looking forward to taking delivery of my new sofas.

The people in SCS Plymouth store were knowledgeable and helpful UNFORTUNATELY they are let down by head office and the delivery team. We were promised free delivery on our order and free it should be as they were helpless! One of them could not speak English so communication was already not great. It would not fit through the front door so I asked if they could try the back door which they clearly couldn't be arsed. We then were not told what would happen with our sofas and had ZERO contact from SCS for 2 weeks! Everything i tried to call the store there was no answer.

We finally got a message from the upholsterer (who we never asked for) asking us to arrange a reattempt at delivery and potentially taking it apart to fit. Again this is clearly lack of communication.

We got an email from the manager saying they have tried to contact us (rang once with no voicemail left) regarding the delivery and I explained no one had told us they would be passing on our contact details over to another person (breach of GDPR) and we weren't told of the price for the upholsterer.

We managed to agree that if the upholsterer can fit it through the back door (with help from my partner) then we would only pay him the delivery charge of £130(rather than the £300 that it would be from the upholsterer taking it apart etc) and SCS would refund us the delivery charge due to the lack of trying from the other company.

The upholsterer was lovely! No fault of his own, gave us lovely advice and even took some pics to show the manager so we could get our refund. But I have been chasing this refund since the 28th March with SCS giving us false hope saying that it was with head office and they would call me. NO CONTACT NO COMMUNICATION from them at all. They are now ignoring my emails and I would not recommend them at all. The sofa is great but there service and communication is ridiculously poor.

Helen has been absolutely brilliant with my partner and I. Showing us exactly what we were looking for, showing all different fabrics and options. Really great service, thank you Helen for your hard work and patience!
