Visited ScS Ipswich on Tuesday to buy a sofa and chair. Lovely bright, clean store with lots of variety. We were greeted by the Manager Simon who was extremely pleasant and not pushy which was such a breath of fresh air. His knowledge and desire to help us was second to none.

We found what we were looking for, were treated with respect and friendliness and the delivery was next day by an equally friendly, pleasant team.

Can’t rate this experience high enough and will use again.

A minor glitch at purchase in the local store was quickly resolved and our sofa was delivered today. So far so good. The delivery guys were the cherry on the cake though, polite, efficient and friendly. Thanks Stewart & Reece.

We had a really nice chat with the manager who was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all our questions and gave us lots of useful info. I felt our time was used well and we decided to order a sofa. I felt in safe hands with ScS and look forward to getting my lovely new sofa.

The worst customer service ever experienced. We ordered a corner sofa, 3 seater and footstool just after Christmas 2023 costing more than £5k. Everything was delivered by the end of January, but that's where the positives end.
The cushions we received were the wrong colour and didn't match the footstool which was the correct colour but wrong size!
Since this date, we have received 2 larger footstools in the wrong colour and what feels lile hundreds of cushions in wrong colour and size.
We have confirmed the correct items we require on numerous occasions to several different people.
The head office have tried to assist us but the Ipswich branch have been close to useless, also changing Manager during the process but not resulting in any better customer service.
The final crux came when the latest Ipswich Manager confirmed there was nothing else they could do and completely blamed the supplier Alstons saying they would no longer be using them. How is that supposed to help us? He blamed Alstons for costing them a fortune for getting it so wrong. I even forwarded this email to the Managers at the Head office but heard nothing further. We told SCS to come and take the sofas back as have really had enough.
However, we then decided to take matters into our own hands and contact Alstons ourselves. They were extremely helpful and understanding and couldn't believe what we had been told as they are one of the biggest suppliers to SCS.
We still haven't got our correct cushions or footstool 7 months later but apparently they are on their way!.
We are not holding our breaths!!!
It would be nice to actually get a proper response from a Senior person at SCS who cares about the customer. We've had a £200 refund for the inconvenience but it was never about the money. We just want our correct sofa accessories and someone who actually cares.
Really disappointing as a lot of the other branches have good reviews on their customer service. Perhaps we should have gone further afield as Ipswich is definitely letting the whole Team down!

We visited a different store to try and find an example of the suit we looked at last week in a different layout. we did and the sales rep was helpful the price had change in 7 days but honoured the price quoted last week

I visited the Ipswich store and had a great experience choosing my new furniture. I received a friendly welcome from Matt, who let me have a good look around. When I made my decision, Matt was very helpful and knowledgeable of all aspects of my purchase. Outstanding service. I will visit the Ipswich store again.

We visited Ipswich store and had a great experience. We were greeted by Matt after having time to look around first! Matt went above and beyond to help us find the perfect sofa for us. We had three young children with us and Matt made this visit stress free and easy. Looking forward to our new sofa being delivered.

Went to the store on Saturday to pick a new sofa, was greeted by Matt who went above and beyond with our needs, everything we wished for and more, Matt and the store manager were a treat to deal with, needless to say we’ll be back again when we need to.

IPSWICH STORE . I would give a score of 11 out of 10 if i could. The 2 men that assisted me and my son in buying a sofa and chair, were brilliant. They gave honest opinions on what i was viewing, had a really good sense of humour, and were happy to assist me in any way i wanted without being suffocating. I walked out of the shop thrilled with my new seating, and very happy with such a nice smooth, easy transaction . Thankyou.

We have been searching for the right leather suite over the past few months.
After numerous trips to nearby outlets and furniture stores,we decided to travel a bit further over to Ipswich.
The very first store we went to was SCS.
After some helpful advice and guidance from Simon (Store Manager) we finally had an idea of what suite we really liked the look of.
A week later we returned and decided to purchase this.
We would like to take this opportunity in thanking Simon for his help throughout this journey!
