Delivery as promised and super delivery people who made sure all was well. From purchase to delivery, the service from SCS has been impeccable

Max and Charlie were amazing and provided a professional serive when delivering our sofa. They called us and let us know when they would be delivering our sofa giving us a rough time on delivery.

Everything from finding the sofas to delivery was brilliant.
Didn't feel harassed in store when looking round and delivery was quick and easy. Updates via text were useful.

Delivery went well and arrived ahead of schedule. Unfortunately that was the only positive! The suite should have been put together for us but this was completed correctly or we have a damaged 3 seater sofa. When we challenged the different heights, the large gap between the seats and the sofa wobbling when we sat on it we were informed that was normal by the delivery team. There were also 3 pulls in the 3 seater sofa. We made a complaint but SCS wanted pictures and a video before they said they would send out a technician. Now waiting a further 2 weeks before someone is coming out to view our complaint. What should have been a wonderful experience has turned into a nightmare.

We are still waiting on our sofa that should have been delivered on 4/10 to be told that was apparently when it would be in the country which was not said to us by Oliver the sales man at Gloucester we had a text last week advising delivery on the 20th & guess what a text today saying cancelled delivery & don’t know when it will be delivered not answering phone now! So clearly our sofa is not even in this country! When I can finally get through they can shove their sofa where the sun don’t shine! Absolutely appalling would not recommend anyone buying from them EVER 😡

Me and my wife went with a vague idea of the kind of sofa we wanted. The salesman Oliver took these ideas and showed us a range of sofas that matched our criteria. He was very knowledgable and extremely friendly. He even made us a coffee as we confirmed our order. Very happy with the sofa we chose and the overall experience in store.

Yesterday 07/10/25 we visited SCS Gloucester and dealt with a very nice gentleman by the name of Dean, he’s the sort of salesman I like to deal with, he’s knowledgeable regarding his job not in the slightest pushy, but very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him.
SCS should be proud to have him on their payroll.

A really positive experience with Daniella when we went to choose our sofa. Excellent communication skills, very welcoming and friendly. Checked our order several times before placing, also helpful with measuring, a very happy person 5 ⭐ to converse with.

I ordered a sofa in January… my new sofa arrived in march but unfortunately I had the correct chair delivered but the wrong sofa and was left with unmatching sofas

I then waited to be told in June that the discontinued my sofa and had to reselect
I went a selected a new sofa and no offers so I had to choose one more money . I am still waiting and expecting delivery in September and hoping this is correct so 9 months and still waiting
The whole system to get hold of customer service is awful
The shop in Gloucester they have not been the best and I have to deal with a shop assistant and feel the manager avoids the chat with me. I just feel calls made to me are just because I’ve moaned and I’ve had to do chasing
I am currently having to pay finance on product I’ve not received correctly

Visited the Gloucester store today , just to take a look until we met Oliver.
He was so helpful & friendly nothing was to much trouble, found the perfect sofa and left the store looking forward to the delivery.

From ordering the sofa to delivery I can't fault SCS. The delivery crew were amazing they put the furniture together with such efficiency and put it where I wanted it to go. They also took all the packaging away and made sure everything was clear. Brilliant.

Received sofas on 14th May, 5 days in and looked old! Technician came out and said there was a manufacturing fault and therefore they agreed to a refund and arranged a collection date for today. I have heard nothing! Can't get through on any phone line and not responding to emails. Don't buy from this company!

This is our first purchase from SCS. They gave us our delivery date and it was 1 day out. Not bad at all . The delivery guys were great.Staff at the store were great and the furniture is fantastic

2 areas of incompetence:
1. Was told free delivery when we entered the shop. An hour later settled on a discounted unit, only to be told over £100 delivery item on this! So abandoned this and found another sofa with free delivery.
2. About 10 days after buying a sofa, was contacted to say that I had not signed a credit agreement and that I needed to come into the store. I then found out that this meant that they had not even placed the order with the manufacturer, despite paying a deposit at the time! So, even more time added to the approx 2 month delivery wait. I said I was not in the area for a while and for them to either post or email the form for me to sign but after looking into this option it seemed they could not do it. Then, out of the blue received an email saying that I had signed the necessary forms when I was here and their excuse was 'The system showed as Referral but has now been accepted and is complete' No apology let alone any gesture toward the added time to delivery or inconvenience.

Great sales untill you have a problem!
Sofa arrived broken given the benefit of the doubt and had rectified 4 times now...no compensation for loosing wages for having to take days off..now trying to return ! Wait for an email that never arrives..very poor aftershaves would avoid!

The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly, in particular the sales clerk Oliver made me and my wife feel very relaxed, we didn’t feel pressured in anyway and also had a decent bit of banter with Oliver which made the experience all the more better. Even though they were shorted staffed I felt they gave an excellent and I would say a very honest service and I would 100% go again if not just for the banter 👍👍.

Please note : This review I am about to complete is for the delivery drivers Catalan & Mihai ( ref BDW931 ).
I cannot thank the both of them enough for the work they have put in to deliver a two seater sofa and a three seater sofa bed, which they carried up six flights of stairs to my 6th Floor flat due to being too big for the lift. They did not complain at all even though the weather outside reached 21°.
I have had a nightmare with ScS with my delivery having been cancelled five times so today, thanks to Catalan & Mihai, I am very happy.
