Redeeming the warrenty is a nightmare. Send pics, get an appt days later, tech said will come back, never does, wait again, call again, wait again for appt, now told I need to pay for a replacement? Can’t get anyone on the phone, they call you whenever and sometimes it’s not convenient.
Customer service
I went to the store seeking one item and met with Tamia Sams. She was very helpful, however the item I was seeking was not available. Ms. Sams then talked me into testing one of the mattress and wow; what a feel. I remembered the feeling on the way to my car, the manner in which it felt on my every turn. I had to go back in ask ack more about it; will get one. I must say she is a great salesperson, friendly personality great customer service with a smile; better than most.
Gross incompetent customer service
I live outside NY and visited my younger sister who I haven't seen for a long time. I bought a sofa for her Christmas gift on the 4th December2025 at the branch at 10 west circle, Valley stream NY, 11581. Sadly I had to leave before delivery date. They failed to deliver on the initial delivery date given. They then reassigned a new delivery date but the sofa they delivered was broken so had to be returned. My sister went to the store and then decided to chose another sofa, like for like at the same price. They made three separate deliveries of the same brand sofa, sadly, each time they had to be returned as they that were obviously used or repossessed. There were stained marks all over different areas of the sofe. The last delivery guy was so fed up he even asked her to lie, asking her to let him leave the sofa and then she could call the store to report the faults. Of course she did not. If she did what he asked, how could anyone confirm that she didn't damage the sofa after he left? . So she got him to speak to the store and once again they took the sofa back. She made several communications with the store and after the million and one excuses about her getting her sofa, she was forced to go into the store and cancelled the order. A refund was finally agreed on. This only happened after the many back and forth trips to the store and the various telephone calls to employees who have no idea what they are doing. The common excuse given at every step of the way is that they have a new system in place. How stupid do they think the public is. Any company would train their staff on a new system. Long and short of the story is, no refund is yet seen in my account as on 23rd January 2026. After this long wait and my sister making millions of trips and telephone calls to the store, I have had enough. Yesterday, whilst my sister was in store, I spoke to them on the phone. I have threatened them with a lawsuit and demanded my refund . I also requested to have an email sent to my email address to confirm that payment is being made, the amount and the date, surprise surprise, no email, no refund. BTW, when I tried emailing them in the past, I received a notification saying I am blocked. My sister again visited the store today 23rd January, and the new excuse is that they had posted out a cheque in my name but to my sisters address . What a load of sh....T. My sister was there on the day before and the clowns had us both confirming my credit card details for the refund. Now they are talking about a cheque being sent to her in my name and which she won't be able to cash. I am so ANGRY, never seen such gross incompetence in all my life. Not only did they claim to post out a cheque but stated it was posted out on the 15th January and the amount was incorrect. A stop order was placed on the check and now they are telling us that it will take 3 HOURS to correct the refund amount. Furthermore, this cannot be done until Monday. I am livid that I am not in NY and can't go right away due to work schedule. I spent over 3000.00 US dollars at their counter in store snd I am fighting to get my money back. I am also happy I am not there as believe me, mayhem would errupt. DON'T BUY FROM THIS STORE. THEY ARE ALL INCOMPETENT BAFFOONS, LIARS, THEIVES, AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.

First of all if i could give zero stars i would so now its a zero for me ...so on nov 13 my cousin and i go over to raymour &flanigan in valley stream green acres to be exact to purchased a bed frame and it was a very horrible experience i was left traumatize why is because i did not have no bed frame to put my mattress on for days prior to getting my bed purchased fr this company and still have to wait .i was extremely angry ,so the thing that got me more pissed is on the day of delivery there was text ,no call,just no overall communication so my cousin call after waiting from 11 am to around 3pm which the delivery window was 11:15 to 2:15 so after getting fustrated she call miss marsha graham she was hepful but also was dissappointed about the situation ...everyone seems off and weird at this point with no proper explanation ..so we wewe told truck broke dwn 3hrs prior to delivery and they will be coming still upon this day i dnt received no delivery this was nov 19 this is ridiculous .. so i get up the next morning and go to the store myself and get me a refund immediately i will never shop at raymour &flanigan valley stream again it was a bad experience and i would not like no one to go tru this infuriating ,disrespectful, unprofessionalism experience and i will definately tell everyone i know or if they ask for reccomendation my ans gonna be just run away fr that place if u want to be traumatizes ..they ruined a very beautiful moment for me and days i had to take fr wrk ...bad business

If I could give this store zero stars, I absolutely would. I took my cousin to Raymour & Flanigan on November 13 to buy a bed, and what should have been an exciting moment turned into a complete disaster. I’ve shopped here before and always had great experiences, so I trusted this store big mistake.
My cousin purchased her bed and was given a delivery date of November 18 between 11:00 AM and 2:15 PM. The truck never showed up. Not a call, not a text, not a single notification. We called the store repeatedly, and the ONLY person who even tried to help was Ms. Marsha Graham. Everyone else was either dismissive or acted like they couldn’t be bothered.
We were told the truck “Broke down,” but the order would still be delivered the same day. That was a lie we waited the entire day, and nothing happened. The next day, November 19, we waited again. Nothing. No delivery, no update, no accountability, no professionalism whatsoever.
My cousin had to physically go to the store and cancel the order herself. A company this large claiming to have only ONE truck is ridiculous and unacceptable. The way they treated my cousin was disrespectful, unprofessional, and just plain careless.
This experience was so bad that my cousin will never shop at Raymour & Flanigan (Valley Stream) again, and she will tell everyone she knows to stay far away. They ruined what should have been a special moment and wasted two full days of our time. Absolutely disgraceful.
