Over the years I have ordered a lot of garden furniture from Rattan Direct, I understand that at times some of the delivery times might be long, however, the quality of the furniture is amazing and the customer service is second to none, the phone is always answered promptly and issues dealt with timely, I will definitely use them again in the future.

Very Flexible
I have used Rattan Direct a number of times and I love their flexible approach.
I have a place in Portugal and I have asked Rattan Direct to deliver to Algarve removals ahead of onward delivery to Portugal. Nothing is too much trouble and I would recommend them to anyone.

Still looks brand new
We’ve had our chaise longe for several years now, through rain and shine and it is still as comfy as ever and still looks in excellent condition. Delivery guys were very pleasant and really helpful. We’d definitely buy from them again (and yes, this is an honest review and no, we don’t work for the company!)

A firm which provides consistent high-quality service and goods.
The delivery of goods and communication on acquisitions has always been good. The quality of purchases such as an outside umbrella and a patio heater has been reliable. Good Quality pieces
Used this company on the recommendation of a friend. Both she and I have had our furniture for a couple of seasons now and it remains in excellent good order. Mine is outside permanently with the recommended covers in and it’s been brilliant. I found the customer service was also really prompt and helpful so I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I wouldn’t buy my garden furniture from…
I wouldn’t buy my garden furniture from anywhere else. After over 10 years everything still looks like new. I have the sun loungers, 8 seater table and chairs, storage units, table and free standing heaters, coffee set and now a lovely 2 seater set with the table in the middle. I don’t know if they still do the heaters but they have outlasted my previous ones.

Compensation
Contacted ratten direct 8/9 weeks ago concerning faulty goods. They agreed to compensate me, after numerous emails, I'm always told they have a backlog of compensation to pay (that's worrying) I'm still waiting and now wandering if im ever going to get the compensation I'm due.
Just read the reply from Rattan Direct as below:-

The same email i get every time it must just be a generic excuse they send to everybody.

Never Again
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering as I would never have ordered. Placed a simple order for a 2 seat sofa , 2 armchairs and coffee table with footstools all in Rattan. First delivery 3 armchairs arrived!! 2nd delivery, another customers returned furniture arrived!!! 3rd delivery almost correct apart from missing picnic blanket…..finally arrived a week later.
I spent hours on the phone and in excess of 20 e mails with this company trying to get this resolved. The compensation they promised within 10 days…..like others this took 6 weeks to arrive. I emailed the CEO on more than 14 occasions. Not one reply….not even a courtesy reply. Absolutely shocking service. Never again.

The worst company I have ever dealt…
The worst company I have ever dealt with, I placed an order and the funds were taken twice.
Called immediately to request funds back, was told this would take 14 Days!!! This did not happen, was told it was with finance, called every day for a week with promises of call backs and also would be called by the manager. NO call backs as promised
Called again following week to be told no refund had been request, strange because I had an email conformation of refund. Also with the other 4 calls no one said this was not requested but rather it was in the pipeline, more broken promises.
Still no money received to date or Original furniture

Do not buy from this company!! They took my order and money in May. The order was due to be delivered 1 August and never arrived. No explanation. I queried this and was told there was a delay of 1 month. Still nothing arrived. I cancelled the order and was told 14 days for a refund. No refund!! I was told I can't speak to anyone in finance directly. I think I have been scammed. Do not buy from this company!!

DO NOT purchase anything from this company. We ordered a three piece rattan set & picked a suitable delivery date. No communication received as stated on the website to inform us that the delivery would not be made on our selected day. On contacting the company I was assured that the delivery company would be in touch to rearrange a further suitable date. No communication received either by email, phone or text. On contacting again I was informed that the delivery company would be planning a route & as yet not collected the furniture from the warehouse, I was again assured someone would contact me. No communication received & a further telephone call again repeated that it had not been collected & someone would be in touch. I cancelled the order & requested a refund. I confirmed the cancellation also by email & received a reply stating a refund would be initiated & received within 14 days. After 14 days & a further email, I was informed they had a large backlog of refunds to process & it would take longer than 14 days & if I had not received the refund after 30 days to get back in touch & the matter would be escalated. I have replied back quoting the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states a refund should be processed fully within 14 days of the cancellation date. Watch this space!!!! Buyer BEWARE !!!!

The worst customer experience I’ve ever…
The worst customer experience I’ve ever experienced. They take your money for months whilst delaying your furniture then they cancelled the order! They said the furniture was no longer being stocked then a month later.. shock it had been restocked but at a higher price! We have received furniture which had cracks in the glass on the table but absolutely nothing was done about this and it took 6 months to deliver! I would absolutely not recommend this company and would strongly recommend somewhere like maze living or white stores instead - they have brilliant customer service and don’t take half a year to deliver furniture. Never been so disappointed and shocked at a company.

If I could give 0 star I would furniture never arrived on 2 occasions I had to chase for a delivery date there was no communication and a couple off months after initial delivery date I asked for a refund, now been waiting 3 half weeks for refund to arrive. Absolutely dreadful

Refund? What refund?
Stay away from this business.
As per other reviews - refunds are not dealt with in a timely manner.
After failing to fulfil delivery on an order placed in June, this business has elected to pass me round from person to person without getting any closer to receiving our refund for the outstanding items not received on a partial delivery in August.
Cannot comprehend how a business can function in this way, and the CEO also will not respond to your emails.

Waterproof and exactly what I needed!
I was really pleased with the professional service and help that I received. I could not find replacement furniture covers online for the rattan furniture that I purchased. I made enquires on the phone to Rattan Direct and the customer service personnel, very helpfully took time to check their system to locate exactly what I needed.
