Far too expensive
We were in Pickering today.
Positives - staff friendly, super guy on hook a duck who helped my little granddaughter, well organised car park.
Negatives - poorly signposted from main road, no shelter for families in poor weather , sparse baby change facilities with no bins!, very overpriced rides - for example bouncy castle £6 per child for 12 mins . About 50 kids at a time so they are raking in 1.5k an hour - daylight robbery. Families are a sitting target as shows are spaced throughout the day with nothing for kids to do in between.
After spending nearly 100 quid entry for a family of 4 ( one child under 2) it is a very expensive day out and we didn’t even buy any food . Won’t be coming again

Overpriced, Underwhelming & Over Hyped
We paid £60 for three of us. The event was built up and advertised to be spectacular sadly it just wasn’t. It was very over priced for what it was and was more like a local fun day. There were more food stalls than anything else. The rides weren’t included in the price either and were £3 - £4 a pop with not a lot of variety, I’ve seen more rides/better selection at local fairs. The main shows were okay, nothing spectacular. I expected more from the kids shows, at one point the gummy bears & panda one was literally just some bears dressed up standing about for pictures and nothing else. There was a monster truck ride but that was £10 pp so didn’t bother in the end. The inflatables never saw any inflation for the duration we were there and just laid flat on the ground looking sorry for themselves. There wasn’t any areas to get out of the rain either other than under the dogems roofing or inside a clothing pop up store. The event was pretty sparse in areas and overall just lacked that ‘wow’ factor. I wouldn’t go to one of these again or recommend them to anybody either especially at the price it was. Ended up leaving after about 3 hours and that included sitting in the van for lunch. We just took it as a loss and left feeling incredibly underwhelmed.

Scam
Booked at Market Rasen Racecourse for the 29th March. Turned up and the place was locked up with no event in sight. Messaged on Facebook, no response, complete scam.

Very overpriced for what you get
Very overpriced entry fee, no option for child prices. All the rides and food were also overpriced and very poor quality. It was very badly organised, the crowds were awful and a safety risk for small children. It was very misleading in its advertisement of what to expect on the day. Highly disappointed and would not recommend.

Ayr Monster Truck Motorfest - Disorganised
We visited the Ayr event with our 4 year old on Sunday and we left feeling very underwhelmed.
I had checked the website beforehand for guidance on parking as was unfamiliar with the venue- no info so we turned up to find the small car park in front of the building in gridlock. We ended up parking on a nearby residential street. It was then very unclear where to get in. Turned out the entrance was away round the back of the racecourse so a long walk with no signage that I saw. Once we got to the field we noticed that there was some parking available on the field, it would have been nice to know that before the long trek!
The whole event looked very budget, like a village gala with 1 monster truck. Food is always expensive at these things so I wasn't surprised with the prices or nature of the food but there was nowhere to sit, not enough bins and definitely not enough toilets.
A rethink is needed on the layout if they come back as the kids entertainment was set up so the audience would stand right in the main thoroughfare across the event so there was massive congestion and people were getting angry.
I also found the sound system poor, at many areas around the main arena it was impossible to hear what was being said.
I had been unaware that wrestling was going to be one of the attractions so was initially confused when I saw 2 guys in pants wandering about behind the food stalls and we never did find out where the transformers and pokemon mascots were hiding.
We did really enjoy the bike stunts particularly Broke FMX who put on a great show with good crowd interaction.
I don't think we'll be back as even my 4 year old wanted to know where the rest of the trucks were! Was Billy Coull involved in the setup?!

Fantastic day out
Hi all, we have had our tickets for this event ( Saturday) for a while and been looking forward to it and it didn’t disappoint, my family ( 3 kids and a teenager ) loved the day out and the entertainment was non stop , we stayed longer than we thought to watch all the shows and stunts again before it got too cold,
We had food at the Greek caferer and it was first class, our chicken gyros chicken was being cut from the rotisserie and was so fresh, thy done something for everyone including my wife’s Greek salad box
Looking forward to if thy come back next year
What a amazing event
What a amazing event , considering the conditions of the ground the organisers did well to still present the show ,
Great attention to detail to with the monster truck theme on the games stalls , lots of choice for food, kids had a great day at Ayr, hopefully they return , I'd visit again
Worst £120 spent
Paid £120 to go to this event, was very un organised. From facebook videos looked like an amazing full day out on hard ground to walk on. That was far from what we found at Ayr racecourse.
Was in the middle of the racecourse in a large grass area which was very wet and muddy. There was no adults fair ground rides setup, big waits between main events overpriced food trucks and a guy on mic that was ear deafening. Only good thing was my son enjoyed the monster truck ride. Travelled from Fife to be there and we left after 2 hours and found other things to do in Ayr.
Was very disappointed and will never recommend to anyone or attend again.

A certain family at this event actually…
A certain family at this event actually was threatening myself and another family the mum of the family had a built wrapped round her hand and was trying to fight me whilst I was holding my 2 year old. The whole crowd was there round the wrestling show and no one intervened there was no stewards visible round this event I had to go and find one myself who then was very helpful but it could of been better organised for the big crowds and more stewards security watching the behaviours of people
Monster Truck Show, Ayr, Scotland
We really enjoyed the show. The monster trucks were great and loud, but the motorcycle stunt performers were definitely the highlight — they were brilliant to watch and clearly put a big amount of effort into their performance. The whole event had a great atmosphere and was a really fun experience.

We traded at Ayr and had a brilliant time. Saturday was a bit of a rough start with the mud, but the team got it sorted so that we could move on the Sunday. The atmosphere was brilliant and loved that we had such a prime view of the arena from our stalls. It was clear that everyone who attended was having the best time. Can't wait to be back at future events.
Honest review!!!
Ok, here goes..
After seeing the adverts of this experience cropping up on my Facebook page every time I entered it I thought yes let's go and take the family to an amazing event!. Thats unfortunately where it stops...it was incredibly busy, it was like walking through a swarm of people to go anywhere! The motorbike stuntsmen put on a great show, clearly very skilled and wish them all the heath and safety to continue..
People were all lining up in between shows which were 30 mins apart so they could actually see it if possible, of course adults were all putting their children on their shoulders and some people were very territorial of where they stood, pushing and shoving in the usual entitled way..I
I Cant say this has anything to do with RA events as they are not responsible for selfish people's poor behaviours however with so long in between shows and fear of losing our place we stood looking at the empty arena for a big chunk of the day...the cost of two ice creams was absolutely staggering, sure one was a double cone with flakes in it but for the other was an ice cream small plastic cup and was £12.50!!!. In what world is this ever acceptable, the queue for the ice cream van was around 25 mins at the time too.
Slingshot the monster truck sounded great with the help of the speakers amplifying the sounds of of it and yes the driver drove over 4 cars 3 times after a quick demo which was exciting but only for the few mins it happened, with the rest of the day being taken up with waiting, massively overpriced food, rides with massive queues etc, we were quite glad to leave after watching slingshot at 2.30pm.
Also Slingshot did a 5 minute demo then parked up for questions from the audience which lasted between ten and fifteen minutes, so all in all I think you maybe got 15 mins of monster truck experience..
They were droves of people leaving at the same time and had also clearly had enough...there was no pokemon that we could see, the two transformers were overwhelmed with kids and parents shoving them beside them to try get pictures for their day out..didn't see the small jeep that goes on two wheels , no motorcycle riders driving through fire,no larger rides, didnt see a lot of the things advertised and as I said trying to get any kind of viewpoint was really hard, with having a young son there and trying to get him through the wall of people was unnerving..all in all we spent £60 of our hard earned funds and at least another £40 on overpriced ice cream, small toys etc...to drop £100 on today we did walk away with a bit of a sulk to be honest..the real life experience is unfortunately not a patch on the advertised experience.
Even the MC was trying his best to get people to join in and today and no one was responding that I could hear...its a shame when you see the advertised experience and look forward to this for weeks, pay for the tickets and walk away quite despondent....for all above i wouldn't recommend especially with kids tickets being full price that is a rip off in itself...families work hard to make experiences on their days off from a long week of work and to spend our Sunday like this and be £100 worse off was a letdown.

Ayr show
Ayr show - I feel the ad was definitely over hyped. We got in when it started so fortunately my son got a shot on the inflatables before the ridiculous ques started to form. One knock off monster truck that you couldn’t even see due to crowds. Seems like it was unorganised but I feel what mattered most to the organisers was body’s in the place. More people = more money. Far far too many people so we left after 1.5hrs. We seen others leave then too. The cost of everything in there is ridiculous too. £7 for a hot dog, £5 for chips and cheese and £8 for chips cheese and curry. If I’d known I’d have taken food in with me despite the rules. Total money making scheme I feel. If your kids like monster trucks I’d suggest the monster jam show, and the hot wheels fire & glow show at the hydro. I have been to both and it’s much much more worthy and exciting than this.

Went to their Ayr show
Went to their Ayr show, it was disoeganised hell. Had three speakers blasting three different things really close to each other. One was a singer, one was wrestling commentator and one that was quietest, the stunt show speaker. Only one Monster truck and the bike stunts were good but most places by the fence poor visibility. The kids characters come out for half an hour, I thought they would be walking around or do a show but have to throw your kid into the crowd to get a hi five. Also 8 quid for a balloon.

Video promo overhyped - Ayr
Video promo overhyped, for 2 adults and 1 child was £60, only stayed for a few hours. Saw 1 show of the monster truck. Big ques for everything so missed a lot of entertainment. Only a few wee rides like tea cups and trampolines, mostly bouncy castles but again ques really long. Didn't like the fact it stated on Facebook page no outside food allowed, cause it's all so overpriced and waiting in line for ages for it.
Looks like they're also removing any negative feedback comments on their page.
Felt like a waste of money 🙃

Please read all the 1 star reviews they are not false as I had the same happen today. Falsely advertised, no transformers, no stitch, no monster trucks. Just crap bouncy castles waiting for an accident to happen and 5 rides 2 of which kids can go on😂 £80 on a family ticket to be paying £7 just for chips is diabolical!
